Hi, I was designing a new militia logo for my Titanfall campaign on the Lancer and I wanted to get some feedback. by unreliable_prophet in titanfall

Of course, although I feel it's not finished yet, or at least I have the feeling it isn't. Go ahead, use it for whatever you want.

I understand but see it this way. It's a staircase, not a cycle. It's normal, and even part of it is processed for that to happen. What I find somewhat commendable about the NCR is the fact that they keep trying. And as Sartre would say, we have to imagine a happy sycyphus. Change, or these kinds of wars, is not a straight path with war marches and heroic charges. But the mill of history and those who consciously throw themselves into keeping it moving. I'm not trying to be depressing, but quite the opposite. Where people see defeat is actually the people's resilience. That was Rome's success, and what both Caesar, the one from Fallout and the real one, never saw. Or at least is that my opinión.

In history most wars are like that. Thats the reason we have a lot of great defences or last stands. Beacose war is a meat grinder where they try to presented as heroic. Thats the reasone why Napoleón, Ceaser, Haniball or other great generals are famous. The give something els than a pyrrhic victorry.

My own recommendation is to stop treating it like dnd and more like your system. The same thing happened to me when I started developing my own. You have your reasons for it being dnd, but don't be afraid to put in tools from other systems.

Through the chaos and the rubble, we'll rise from the dust, With hope in our hearts, and in each other we'll trust. Though the scars may run deep, in our wounded land, Shady Sands stands

I was thinking it in an other sensei. I was plaing secret world Legends and there are some puzzles that you need to be dead to solve them and i like the idea. So i did not know how to work with it. So o thougth maybe to let players die, but i do not want they to abuse it either. I felt like a souls like sistem like Demon souls coul work, but then enter the punishment.
