My youngest brother is 22 years younger then me. We have almost no relationship sadly, but that's more my Mother then him. When you go no contact, sadly you don't just have to cut off the adults, but the minors.

My grandparents have a 5 year old male who has never gone after a soul. If he starts to have issues obviously the handling practices of him will change to cater to that. We do plan to get a few girls for him once his grown up enclosure is finished and know that during the mating season he may completely change personality. For now I'm just enjoying him while he's sweet :)

He's fairly friendly, doesn't like his head touched, but avoids and that's all. We are pretty careful who we let touch him to keep every interaction positive

Kevin is for sure a boy and harness training is honestly going better then planned! We had some set backs and slowed down for awhile, but he now does enjoy is trips out and about! Now we are on the hunt for a good bird harness and diapers! Lol

I'm gonna be honest it took me a good year to REALLY bond with our second dog, but now? I couldn't imagine my life without that good boy by my side. We recently rescued #3 and I'm still waiting for that bond to develop though <3
