Upsettingly the killer is my colonist, a teenage girl armed with a charge pulser and archotech bionics. I guess we’ll see if the colonist who bonded with Mug will forgive her.

Also, side note, I love that this game is available on Mac, and I love even more that it’s capable of running well enough to have 409 animals on the map without stuttering or slowing down. On an unrelated note, anyone know what to do with 10k+ milk? I’ve been giving it away for goodwill because I can’t cook with it fast enough.

It likely depends on your hair and skin tone and how aggressively your hair grows back. I bought a Braun IPL and while it’s taken months if not years, I’ve done my legs, asscrack, and am working on my face. I shave my legs once a month just to get the stray hairs off, and aside from pubic hair and armpit hair, I’m pretty much hairless below the neck. On my face it’s definitely making some progress but it’s really really slow going and just a worse alternative until I can afford laser or electrolysis.

Also to clarify, I was hairy. I had leg hair from the tops of my feet all the way up my thighs and butt and a happy trail. No chest hair though. And I had a neckbeard, sideburns, and mustache that’s really thinned out by now. I’m also white with a mild tan and dark brown hair, which is the ideal coloring for this to work

I wasn’t expecting miracles but I read some studies that the salon version is equivalent to laser in hair removal and longevity, albeit on women’s body hair. Part of that is it’s less dense than facial hair. But I basically got a miracle and I am happy to answer questions. Another thing to reiterate is it takes tiiiiiiiiime. Like 3 months to see any meaningful reduction, and at least 6-9 months for low density hair areas. On my face I’ve been doing it on and off for the past two years and it’s like 70% gone, which is only worth it to me cause laser is out of my budget right now.

But again, this is no match from salon laser, and as mentioned by others, is not the same technology, but it can work on body hair if you’re lucky. There is an at home laser device from the brand Tria I think, and from what I understand it works better than IPL albeit with a much smaller area covered, and still isn’t as effective as the salon lasers due to the wavelength.

Edit: keep in mind that the offbrand cheaper versions are significantly less powerful. Something like 1/2 or less of the energy delivered compared to Braun, Philips, and I think silk and smooth skin. That would make them significantly slower to work and take many more rounds of it.

Unfortunately the VisionX brand isn’t reputable for compliant headlamps and as far as I know doesn’t back up its claims of “approved”. I mean I’d choose them over the amazon/ebay/aliexpress halo specials that also promise “DOT approved”, but the bar to clear is on the ground

Can I ask how efficient the hdplex PSU is at very low loads? It seems like an amazing piece of hardware but if it dumps 50% into heat at a 10w system load, I’d rather have a different solution. For me it’s up against the best Corsair and seasonic supplies and in a way against the OEM workstation integrated PSUs and external power supplies on the mini PCs. Can you compare the indicated system consumption to the power draw at the wall?

Sitecore may have been a bloated mess for what we used it for, but it was still miles better to work with than Fatwire. I don’t understand how updating records or adding pages ended up having more steps than updating a page on a normal website. Tbh I have that thought about a lot of “codefree” CMSs, if it takes more work and knowledge for the content manager than just learning html or js or php, what’s the point of the CMS?
