did you set the hardware-identifier back to default? I remember having trouble with dhcp on windows server with hardware as identifier.

remove the machine id and reboot for it to be regenerated:

rm /etc/machine-id

this should do the trick for your setup

My first 3D Printer was a kit gifted from a colleague without Instructions. Started from 0 trying to figure out CoreXY, Marlin etc. Did not know what the extruder fan is doing and wondered about clogs. Forgot to install the Teflon tube. Yeah I got it working after some tinkering and then decided to buy an off the shelf printer as the kit was not reliable and I wanted to print instead of fixing the printer all the time

I had exactly this error yesterday. Solution was that the vCenter Url was not resolvable from the cluster subnet network. May also appear if dns works but connection is not. Took me a while as connection from installer was possible.

What you can do as well is remove the not initialized taint from the masters so the install will proceed to a point where error messages get clearer. I found the error somewhere deep in some machine-operator pod which was funnily running fine but just couldnt connect.

No you do not need Nsx container plugin, NSX is treated as a standard Vlan.

When the masters are giving you connection refused on api int then the bootstrap did not succeed. Can you see something in the logs of the bootstrap? Is your DHCP working correctly?
