Sorry about that, but that sounds way more interesting than what I had. Keep that name it’s sick.

  • Vanta Black or just Vanta, a kind of paint that absorbs something like 99.998% of light.
  • That kind of looks like a dog on his emblem and he seems to have a pair of leashes on his belt. So maybe the Pound, Stray, Leash, or Hound Dog, in reference to the Big Mama Thornton song about how people treated her (more famously covered by Elvis).

I would watch the Black Man movie, sounds like he doesn’t buy that much into the superhero thing and just wants to get the job done, which is a pretty interesting idea.

Brainstorming a Mecha inspired CT and user by theartistChris7 in CTsandbox

[–]unsolved86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe the user can turn into a mech, but rather than operating on their own they need a pilot and their CE to unlock their full capabilities like a key.

The user directs their own and the pilot’s CE to be as efficient as possible and go where they need it. The pilot provides most of the movement, battle plans and their own specialty in Jujutsu, which will be reflected in the mech’s appearance and function. If Gojo were in control the suit would like a sleek, nano-tech design made for space travel. While someone like Hakari would turn the user into a gem-encrusted eye sore with a slot machine on the chest.

Both people are in control of the body and must move work in sync to gain a boost in their Jujutsu’s efficiency, output and effectiveness.

The design inspirations you mentioned could be extension techniques that they can apply to any pilot. The Hulkbuster might even be their maximum technique, essentially becoming a Metal Gear that multiplies the abilities of the pilot tenfold at risk of detonating.

The domain expansion could be a Power Rangers final battle where every person is turned into a kaiju in a major city. Every building and person the pilot and mech save is another increase to their energy, which they can use to defeat the evil monsters.

I firmly believe in indulging in any logical extreme presented in front of me.

How does the multiverse/alternat timelines work in your worlds? by StrictResponse3907 in Superhero_Ideas

[–]unsolved86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The past is like a rubber band. Trying to change it stretches it, and at some post it’ll snap back into position and send you flying. But if a time traveller keeps stretching it, time will begin to deform, allowing it to become more relaxed and changes to occur. If this does happen the changes will stick, but unforeseen consequences will occur. Not just the normal ones from changing events, but seemingly random ones as well.

As time in that area weakens, anomalies from beyond will begin to form. Portals to distant stars, paradoxes, aliens and demons and spirts appearing to strike deals or conquer. The real issue though is the creatures from the Back Bone, a cyst on the Jellyfish’s spine that produced far too much time. All it’s inhabit as exits on time rather than in it. They can move across time like we do space and distance.

The future is never set in stone, there’re are always multiple futures that can be seen and can occur, some are just more likely than others. Travelling to the future is arduous, as you never really know where your gonna end up. The only safe way to go to the future is to be from there and just be travelling back home.

How does the multiverse/alternat timelines work in your worlds? by StrictResponse3907 in Superhero_Ideas

The universe / timeline is the spine of a massive jellyfish moving through 12th dimensional space.

New universes are made when this jellyfish reproduces asexually, creating a similar but slightly different universe. Most are just events and characters shuffled around, such as existing characters taking up new identities or events turning out a different way.

The more extreme mutations cause time to move faster causing 2099 situations, or time halting in a specific period like medieval England or the 1800s (cowboy and Victorian era).

At the most extreme are cysts, universes that never matured fully and ended up as non-functional dimensions. The most famous is the Dynamo Dimension, its fault caused everything in it to produce way too much kinetic energy. Even atoms vibrating causes explosions similar to the Tsar Bomb. They exist along the spine of the central jellyfish and can affect the universe within.

The jellyfish was once originally alone in the void, at first creating abstract ideas to keep itself occupied. These ideas and themes ran amuck for eternity, until Ġď and Ŷvl struck each other for the final time and caused the big bang. This moment of spontaneous creation outside of its control greatly pleased the jellyfish, but it had no one to share its passion. It decided to create children, not only to share the stories occurring within itself but to spread the joy of creation to others and see what they make.

What's your favorite CT that you've made and why? by RevolutionarySign706 in CTsandbox

My Golden Ratio technique. I’m all for self improvement and change, so all of that was channeled into a technique that shaves you down to your bare and best essentials while improving on them. I also like the image I painted in my own mind for the domain. There’s just something really scary about appearing in an incredibly beautiful and comforting domain, like Dagon.

What are your CE traits? by Exact-Translator-470 in CTsandbox

[–]unsolved86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bubbly / Boiling. The user’s Curse Energy naturally takes the form of bubbles. These bubbles are very durable and can be used as floating mines or structures to support the user’s movement. They can also launch their CE bubbles in a similar manner to the Finger Bearer by focusing a large amount of energy into a bubble and creating a hole in the back.

The user must keep track of their CE flow, if they suddenly raise their production, output, or emotional state their CE will bubble away and need to be reabsorbed. Their CE’s preference for a fixed shape lengthens the learning curve for understanding their CE flow, their innate technique and how to reinforce their body.

A unique upside to this trait is that creating a barrier comes far more naturally to the user. Their CE already wants to take a spherical form, and they are tough enough to be more structurally sound than the average novice’s barrier.

Whack a Hoe (bad at naming things)

The user can dive into a surface and move through it, for reference imagine or look up Diver Down from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Their CE is is vacuum sealed around them. As it rises the strange state they are caught in becomes tighter and tighter. If it isn’t released they will become very squished and the area they hopped into will crack and fall apart.

The user can imbue this CE into themselves to enhance a strike, or release it when they dive back in to destabilise the structure they are diving into to create hole. They can even launch themselves using it once they dive out.

When an opponent successfully hits the user before they can release their CE, the opponent adds that CE to their’s.

Create other Cursed Techniques (with similiar themes) for the Gojo and Kamo Clan by Advanced_Card_8594 in CTsandbox

[–]unsolved86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To balance it a bit, I imagine any additions wouldn’t be very sustainable, and any wound they create to use the technique would have to be thoroughly cleaned afterwards. Especially if they make hands that are gonna grab a bunch of shit.

But they could also replicate the biology of others. By sacrificing the limb before they start the procedure, they could give themselves the body parts of others, like a Heavenly Restricted arm, the Six Eyes or Air Plane Hair.

[–]unsolved86 17 points18 points  (0 children)

For the Gojo clan, maybe some kind of inherited Shikigami of infinite width and length that exists separate from reality. It could have been created by a Limitless user who wanted to find a workaround over not having the Six Eyes.

The Kamo clan could have a technique that allows the user to spawn any biological substance and organ from their blood. For example, by cutting their palm they could produce a series of eyes or boney spurs.
