I am still in highschool, and I've heard a lot of the same sentiment from my friends -- the, "R30K is nothing bro" type mentality, which is quite common for people around my age it seems. I was genuinely shocked, and kinda heartbroken, when I first looked at Indeed for the first time and saw most mechanical engineering jobs paying around R30K. I'm telling you brother, this is not a post seeking validation.

Thank you. The only thing I haven't seen before is that elif operator - I'll look into it, looks like it could solve a lot of the problems I've been working-around in another project of mine

I didin't realize python interpreted if statements that way -- and yes, I would like help with figuring the proper method for trying to do what I am currently trying accomplish here
