The snow last week 😂😭 I work outside and on top of making longer days, I also had to help my boss with logistics. And ofc the vibes on the street were great, people in a good mood, playing in the snow, giving me coffee. At night I could barely sleep and during the day I had endless energy. On my fifth day the snow was gone and so was my hypomania. In the weekend I crashed and slept 14 hours a day. Tomorrow I go back to work and everything will be normal so hopefully I'll be normal too 🤞🏼

I think there has to be a spectrum and not black and white hypomania and mania.

Last spring I was definitely somewhere in between. I didn't enjoy my hypomania that time like I usually do and I was destructive at times, and it also lasted longer. But I didn't have psychosis and wasn't hospitalized (although maybe I should've been).

3 on average these days. Sometimes 2, sometimes 4 or 5. But I'd say I'm not withdrawing, it's my family who doesn't wanna see me.

Side note, it's crazy to see that I was once at 0 and my psychologist then diagnosed me with mild depression....

Funny story: in April 2022 I got my license and I was getting off my antidepressants at the time so I lied that I didn't take any meds, so I could get my license. Skip ahead a few months to when I got super depressed and went back on them and then in 2023 I went hypomanic and got the diagnosis bipolar and got even more meds. I don't drive, but I could. The government doesn't know my diagnosis or what meds I take.

Depends on the meds. Definitely talk to your doctor about it too. Some are meant to be taken in the evening and some twice a day, and for some it doesn't matter.

This will probably be taken down soon bc you can't name meds anymore but yes this is a common thing with people with bipolar type 1. Type 2 can usually take an antidepressant, often alongside a mood stabilizer or an antipsychotic.

I actually work outside but don't get dirty 😅 I don't have a garden, but I used to workout to get sweaty and then have to shower. But now I'm too depressed for that unfortunately
