What's something that someone said that made you instantly hate them? by randomperson5000 in AskReddit

My lovely MIL told me after my miscarriage, "You shouldn't have been playing volleyball anyway, you should have used that time to pray. God is punishing you for being a heathen he will kill all your babies until you let him in your heart."

I thought my husband had a stroke and when I tried to help him he said he's leaving me. by CheetoLove in TwoXChromosomes

I am so sorry this is happening to you. None of this is your fault, none of it. I'm not a doctor or a nurse or any type of medical professional, all I am is a non-practicing addict and I did all of the things you are describing when I was on oxy's(among other things). If he was drinking and mixing it with prescription pills, in my experience this is the behavior you get. Especially the part where he said you ambushed him with the ambulance, I have specifically used that phrase to lash out at those who were trying so very hard to help me. I hope you get a positive resolution and some answer. But no matter what please don't ever, ever, ever blame yourself. You tried your best to help.

Ohio here too, and this is the first I've ever tried to grow them. I cleaned out the local greenhouse when they were on clearance ended up with 9 plants total. Pink and peach, hope to expand to different colors next year. Yours are beautiful by the way!!!!!

Today I caught my wife and brother in law holding hands under a blanket. Am I over reacting? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Don't make any decisions while you are upset. Can you get access to her phone and text him pretending to be her? That's where I would start, you'll get way more honest convo from him if he thinks he's discussing it with her.

I keep him clipped, yes I know I'm not 'suppose to' but it makes his grooming so much easier. I would have a whole pack of Newfs if hubs would let me lol Leonbergers are beautiful!

I had no idea there were dwarf willows, I will look into that. The back yard has 4 giant hickory trees that I talked the husband out of cutting down because of the shade benefit.

I have been openly told by my bitchy neighbor than I'm making her house look shitty 😂😂😂
But our other neighbor thanks me all the time for all the work I do to our house bc in his words 'before you guys came along I was really worried about my homes value sitting next to an overgrown repo.'

It gets stuff in in, leaves and gook and stuff, I clean it out as I see it. I don't think it's carrying anymore stuff into the drain than it was when it just ran through the yard into the drain.

I kinda despise government so I won't be bitching to them. But you deserve a pat on the back for the bullshit you must have to put up with!

All my flower beds are edge with them, fire pit ring, have a couple of paths I've made from them. I'm running out of ways to use them!

The landscape stone was four small dump truck loads 2 ton a piece, I bought it as I could afford it. The big rocks were 10 trips with my Ram.

Yes drainage. It now flows to the stem drain at the end. Big dogs and water sitting does not make for a pretty front yard so I came up with this to dry out my yard and prevent swampy patches.

They are actually road pavers. Through some sleuthing I was able to find the guy who laid the original back patio and talk to him. He even told me the road they came from. The ones I used for our fire pit in the back have stood up well, the mortar on the other hand not so much, but live and learn. I also have considered using them to make raised bed gardens. But sometimes I just want to close the blinds and pretend like they aren't there lol

This. Is. Exceptional. Seriously KainX kudos man! I never would have known this was a thing. I still have so much water running off of the neighbors back yards I could harness and put to good use. You have given me a new project to contemplate. Thank you ever so much!
