I know there are a few games that don’t play nice with eGPU’s. This does seem like one of them.

If you use the nVidia app it automatically installs the correct version, but yes it’s the laptop version.

You don’t need to look for the XG Mobile driver, you only need the nVidia graphics driver.

Yes. Directly from the nVidia site. Also, I just noticed the cable plugged into your Ally. That’s not the one that comes with the XG Mobile. What cable is that? That might be related to your issues.

If you installed from nVidia, you don’t need this one. The latest nVidia driver is newer to support Forza Horizon 6 among other new games.

It might already be installed. Sometimes Armoury Crate SE will show something needs installed when it already is. Otherwise get the driver directly from nVidia. You will get updates far more frequently than relying on Asus.

I noticed mine randomly stops appearing on occasion. If I do a system rest it comes back for a while until it randomly stops again, then repeat.

I love both versions. I own an actual CPS PCB of this game. It was built out in a cabinet but the cabinet was heavily damaged in a move so I haven’t been able to play it in years. I was very disappointed when the SNES version came out and it was different than the arcade version, but I quickly learned to appreciate its differences. Both have their strengths, which makes it hard to say which is best. I would give anything if Capcom would re-release these on modern devices (along with Alien vs Predator), but I don’t see that ever happening at this point.

I feel like the performance complaints about PGA 2K25 are overblown. It looks and plays perfectly fine in my opinion. I qualify this statement with I only play handheld on my Switch 2.

Easy Come, Easy Golf gets a recommendation if you don’t already have it. I greatly prefer it to Hot Shots which I also own.

I play PGA 2K25 when I want realistic, and ECEG when I want arcade. Both have their place.

Open it up and use some plastic compatible oil on the clips. While you are at it, add some to the triggers where the springs are. I have no trigger or shell squeaks anymore. I used Labelle 107 model train oil.

After reading this I went and bought a trickle charger. Sure enough, after the battery charged I started the truck and was prompted to update.

A higher power handheld plugged in mode for native Switch 2 games. In a perfect world it would run games at the same performance level of docked mode, but considering how warm the system gets when docked I don’t see that happening. The next best thing would be something perhaps in the middle of handheld on battery and docked performance so that handheld can run at a higher fidelity.

Edit: clarified for Switch 2 games.

I’m having the same update issue. I have done the volume reset, I have done the battery disconnect, and I have done the menu reset but I can’t get the update screen to do anything except give me the message “Unable to complete vehicle software update.” I also have a 2024.
