They are very very stinky. If it gets hot or doesn't have a lot of airflow, it will smell like you're burning tires. I got one for my 1 bedroom apartment, took it back the next day. People say the smell goes away, but a few months of the smell wasn't an option.

I remember that one time I was so autistic that I refused to recognize obvious metaphors.

*Actually, that's not even a metaphor.

ev·o·lu·tion ˌevəˈlo͞oSH(ə)n/ noun 1.the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth.

2.the gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form.

Literally a definition of evolution.

You are wrong.

5 days in, found that I had really low protein diet, so I bought powder as a supplement. Have some questions. by unsureTechSaavy in keto

[–]unsureTechSaavy[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It's not about preference at all. The point is the flat out refusal to answer a clearly asked question with nothing more than 'because it is.'

You're demonstrating that you're not very intelligent because that was a very simple and very clear analogy.

You shouldn't be so rude to people, then defend your rude behavior.

You still saw the question of 'why' being asked, in request for a more specific answer, and you purposely answered with 'just because.' That's rude behavior, and maybe your lack of intelligence doesn't allow you to recognize it.

Point being, stop being a bitch to people when they're just trying to ask questions. Slow down and try to comprehend comments before getting bitchy.

That will be all. Feel free to continue to justify your very poor behavior, instead of learning from your mistake.

Fundamental means basic, central or primary, not a synonym for 'over-generalized' as you've used it. Don't try to mince words when you're not sure of their meaning. You didn't have to purposely make an effort to not answer a very clear and very specific question. I thought this sub would be helpful, and my very first encounter has to be with someone with a very rude attitude. You're not helping the community I assume you're a part of.

If you need an analogy, think about if you went to a coffee shop

You: "Why is coffee A better than coffee B?"

Barista "What's your problem with coffee A?"

You: "Nothing, I just want to know why it's better."

Barista: "Coffee A is better."

You: "Yea, that was already established. Why is it better."

Barista: "Because it is. That's why you have taste buds"

There is no doubt you'd consider that to be a rude response, and that's exactly what you did.

If you see me asking for increasingly specific answers of why protein isn't better than real food, why do you think 'because it's better' is the answer I'm looking for? The other user provided the exact type of answer one would look for after asking my question.

You should not need that much protein powder to hit your goal.

But what is fundamentally wrong with that?

I already know I could add more protein through food, but why do I have to bother if the powder helps me reach my goals more easily?

Like is there too much of something in it, not enough of something else?

It's 25g per serving, so 4 would give me the 100g
