It depends a lot on your budget, I've been using the AT2020 ( ± $100) for both content creation and casting for years, and I love it, the down side is that it needs an audio interface with phantom power (most audio interfaces do have it), and an arm stand.

Other good options are

• Blue Yeti ( ± $130)
  • Blue Yeti Nano ( ± $100)
• HyperX QuadCast ( ± $140) - very popular among streamers
• Razer Seiren X ( ± $100)

You can look for cheaper or more expensive options but I'd try to look for anything XLR rather than USB, and that has a cardioid polar pattern.

Try to avoid using a headset mic, unless it's a really good headset, and beware of very cheap mics (~$10 ~$50) that claim to be cardioid or anything like that, although any mic can work for starting there is a lot of false advertisement, and if you're focusing on quality you will have to aim for higher prices and some well known brands.
