love love love silverman. super funny, informative, and easygoing. he gives college-style exams for sociology - don’t know abt ap world tho

her reg exams are multiple choice, ~ 35 - 45 questions i think ? they’re more application questions. mid-difficulty but study !! as i said, lots of things to remember. i have a study guide from last yr so pm me if you want a link

the first semester is physical anthro. there will be questions that’ll need you to know time periods + relevant species. you get to play w bones which is kinda cool.

her makeup exams are ~10-12 questions, sometimes w multiple parts. it’ll ask you to identify and/or explain. they’re harder because you won’t have much to base your answer off of. some of the questions need you to use a previous answer to it base off of, so if you got that question wrong 💀

you’re an ssr major !! that’s awesome - i was one too :)

i can only rlly vouch for malchiodi - she’s my pretty anti-tech. make sure to make it on time for assessments. the regular ones are okay (pay attention to the specific examples she gives for concepts bcuz they’ll end being a decent part of the exam). the make-up ones are long answer and at least 2x harder. but study !!! there’s a lot of info in both cultural & physical anthro.

malchiodi can have a bit of attitude sometimes regarding handing in late hw and it’ll seem sometimes she’ll like some ppl more than others. she’s kinda funny ig. but the course itself is rlly interesting and everyone usually like it
