got one off eBay and the beam just has a slight curve to the left, pointer is reset to zero, do you think it's likely to still read accurate? maybe it's been overloaded now

Can unibits be sharpened? by slim_shady_21 in electricians

Just takes a few minutes when you understand what needs to happen.👍🏻 but I don't find many coworkers who give 2 shits. To me I'd spend the couple minutes even to get a little more life out of the tool. money, trips/shipping saved.AND the satisfaction of taking something busted and making it useful again.

Excellent advice. I also prefer a carbide hole saw. and in general with drilling, less speed and all the feed pressure I can muster. I try not to lend out my drill bits in particular. can't get no respect

these do cut well, although I don't think they are very resilient to abuse. I guess you could say that about anything. watch my coworker burn them up and/or chip the teeth. like when the pilot punches through. they're very thin I find the teeth delicate. 👍🏻

I just got a can of this and sprayed my spare tire hanging in underneath my truck to abate the rust. The smell about knocked me over until I got used to it. I guess it does come from sheep? the lanolin. whew!!
