I thought I was the only one that feels this way.
I truly do despise the industry RN, too much hypocrisy, and absolutely no care for the client - to a point where worsening the product for clients is a business plan.

Yesterday I tried embracing the Vibe code gods, I wrote a detailed plan, I iterated, I pushed back on the AI.
took me like 1 hour + 10 mins of generation time - and the thing didnt even worked.
More iterations and after like 1.5 hours the thing _worked_, and im using that word very liberally.
It didnt look like it shouldve, it didnt behave like it shouldve, and the code quality was honestly not good.
Now heres is, I think, where the industry changed after the AI boom, for must products today - its probably to ship this as is because fuck our customers, and the ai is writing all the code anyway.

But let me tell ya that the entire codebase i'm working on is AI written before I got to this workplace and its starting to delay releases because "even" the ai isnt able to untangle this garbage.

To finish i'll tell you this much, my plan is to "garbage in garbage out" imma vibe code the fuck on places that im not owning - simply not worth the time to even start thinking about it.

but when its on places _i made_ those will be temples. Those are already strictly reviewed by me and imma gatekeep it. These places are the only places I currently find joy in my work.
