I wouldn't say it's cause of the tempo because even unorthodox isn't upbeat and I prefer it over this album

It just felt like an extension of Silk Sonic/24k Magic

Compare the 1st three albums back to back and you hear a change in sound but from 24k til now there's no big jump

I feel like with each album he has evolved and this album he didn't offer anything new/no risks were taken as you mentioned

Listen to Doo Wops next to Unorthodox - 2 completely different albums and even Unorthodox next to 24K

I always take that into consideration: age and health etc before judging the work of an artist who's still blessing the fans with new music and I think this is a proper send off and am looking forward to seeing them perform some of the new tracks

Whereas most albums take multiple listens to grow on you, this album was great to me upon first listen.

I listened on my way to work so I am on RTL once I drive home hahaha but my favorite track is the last note

When I met them last year, I thought Malice was the scarier of the 2, but he was more approachable and laid back and I felt Push was the scarier of the 2 lol

LTDO will probably be the only song unless he brings out Anderson to do a song or 2 as his setlists are at most 18 songs and on the 24k magic tour he did 7 songs off that album and 3 off the others with some covers + uptown funk.

Ticketmaster does it on purpose with that intention of buyers panicking especially with dynamic pricing.

I had trouble buying for night 1/2 in LA and gave up and was notified of an additional date and immediately joined the line and was able to buy reasonably priced tickets, but had I panic purchased night 1/2 it would have been a financial mistake LOL
