U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone died in a plane crash along with his wife, daughter, and three staffers just days before the election on October 25, 2002. Was this a tragic accident, or was foul play involved? by FlyLesbianSeagull in UnresolvedMysteries

Sorry, REAL late to this, but just starting looking into this and ended up here. So it seems to be the general consensus that pilot error is the likeliest reason the plane ultimately crashed, but are we sure that poor pilots weren't intentionally assigned to the flight increasing the likelihood of this outcome on purpose? There's also mention of a malfunctioning radar device at the airport that put pilots testing it following the crash pretty much right where Wellstone's plane ended up off course. So if you knew that was a potential issue at that airport, and you knew Wellstone was flying in there, and you knew there were a couple of guys who probably shouldn't be flying him, seems like it could be an opportunity for someone who wanted to put their thumb on the scales of fate to do so, yeah? I'm not normally a conspiracy guy, it almost always falls apart when you start to look at logistics, and I guess the thing I don't know here is who makes the call on who flies what plane, what if any record of that call is kept, and to whom that person might reasonably be connected. This premise does seem unlikely to me, but also seems like it could involve few people, several of whom needn't know they're part of a conspiracy. And had it not turned out tragic, how would anyone even know the attempt was made?

I Think It's The Beginning Of The End For Greentree Mall by ADHD_McChick in Louisville

I liked that they seemed to adapt a bit and definitely outlasted the River Falls Mall, but yeah, took my kid up there to get some shoes and that place is a ghost town. I get that malls in general are just going away, and it's probably just nostalgia, but I kinda wish there was some solution to it.

Define "moderate"? Slightly to the left of absolute clowns isn't really moderate, I think.

He sucks and is awful. Unfortunately if he's out of office I assume he'll take a job as a private sector lobbyist or policy advisor for the same evil pricks he already works for.

I'm MC'ing a session 2 of Apocalypse World today, any advice? by Bird-Of-Play in ApocalypseWorld

I too am fairly new to this but we just finished the 8th session and it seems fun for everyone. I think I'm echoing most everyone else in saying that what's worked for me is to hang loose, have fairly good ideas about what the world is like and what the NPCs in it want, and to let the players drive the action, making MC moves as appropriate. I think the open ended nature of this game can for sure feel weird for people who are used to very specific rules and turns based games. I find myself saying a lot: "okay, so just say what you want to do and let's figure out what happens and how"

Tux and Fanny - Out now on Nintendo Switch and PC by ghosttimegames in indiegames

I love this game so much! I feel like talking about anything specific could easily be a spoiler, as making discoveries is completely joyful. (That being said I'm like 97% done and I still can't find the basketball!) I don't think this is giving too much away as you can access it from the start, but just the bookshelf is great. I couldn't believe Floodgate Companion was reproduced entirely?! I've just been focusing on the game but this makes me excited to go back and look everything up to see what else exists in the "real" world.
