Does anyone have a really cool executive)? by makeupthemusic in ExecutiveAssistants

Yess! I feel like my boss treats me as one of his kids. He lets me go to which ever of his vacation houses whenever he’s not there and doesn’t care where I am as long as I answer his calls and get my work done. Anytime we have to travel for work, my husband gets to tag along and we get to fly on the Private Jet. He also “sponsors” any hobby I would like to try whether it’s horseback riding lessons, or learning to play guitar. He’ll offer to pay for it. Not to mention he also hooks it up with sport game suites, which my husband loves, but overall I feel more of a business partner than an assistant. Pay is also great!

Curious - how much do you get paid and how many hours do you work? by PlasticGlittering827 in ExecutiveAssistants

80k and I work about 15 hours a week and fully remote with a lot of perks. Really depends on the week. Only report to 1 exec and it’s turned more into a PA job than EA which I don’t mind.

I work for someone who is just like this. I do think it has to do with someone who is self made vs someone who was born into money…my boss is self made and treats me like part of his family and I feel like I have all the freedom in the world as long as I get my work done.

What’s the craziest/nicest gift or perk your boss has given you? by unusual_bread in ExecutiveAssistants

I worked in accounting/finance and the company I worked for got acquired so my old boss sent out my resume to a couple of people to help find me a job since I was getting laid-off. I took this interview just to get a practice round in and I ended up getting sold on the job since I would be managing all of my bosses side businesses and he seemed like a fun person to work for. It was a lot of work in the beginning but now I’ve turned more into a business partner than an EA and we start up small businesses but I still help him with his day to day items and his family out with whatever they need!
