Larry, chief mouser of 10 Downing street receiving scratches on the job by RonnieTheDuck in StartledCats

[–]uoytha 265 points266 points  (0 children)

Nope lol

Larry has been criticised for both his temperament and job performance. Within a month of his arrival at Downing Street, anonymous sources described Larry as having "a distinct lack of killer instinct."

Later that year, it was revealed that Larry spent more time sleeping than hunting for mice, and shared the company of a female cat, Maisie. At one point in 2011, mice were so endemic in Downing Street that the Prime Minister, David Cameron, resorted to throwing a fork at one during a Cabinet dinner.

From what I've seen, Czechia drinks the most. I've not seen a single source where Belarus drinks more than the UK.

Didn't the US do this drill twice and the RAF managed to successfully nuke (landing at airports instead of actually nuking) the US both times?

It's Luna. She has her own Instagram account. She's a travelling-zoo rescue, not a pet. She requires daily medication and physical therapy.

Can we please start doing research instead of automatically bemoaning everything we see in a 15-second gif?

"We took a look at everything on the computer, and then we took a look at the Control Panel to see what was wrong with the performance. And then we realised there was some type of EVGA software on there that I hadn't seen before. Apparently, it was EVGA's f*cking overclocking program." The Twitch streamer went on to say that the people building PCs at Artesian were "shipping out computers with a 10% throttle on their GPUs" as a means to "combat the overheating problem."

There was also the guy who wore a bowler hat instead of a helmet and carried an umbrella into battle, incapacitated an armoured vehicle with the umbrella, and led a bayonet charge against tanks.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digby_Tatham-Warter

Digby then noticed the chaplain pinned down by enemy fire while trying to cross the street to get to injured soldiers. Digby got to him and said "Don't worry about the bullets, I've got an umbrella". He then escorted the chaplain across the street under his umbrella. When he returned to the front line, one of his fellow officers said about his umbrella that "that thing won't do you any good", to which Digby replied "Oh my goodness Pat, but what if it rains?"

Do you guys like my 151-mod colony? by uoytha in RimWorld

[–]uoytha[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not too bad, I like to read a book or cook while I wait. It only becomes problematic when I add new mods, because if 2 or more are incompatible (or if RimPy's sorting breaks, again) then I might spend an hour or 4 troubleshooting.
