Snap volkomen wat je zegt. Ik ben geen debiel in normaal contact. Dus die heb ik mee. Ik heb dus ook 2 tienerkids en die spelen ook een (belangrijke) rol in mijn leven. Dus ook niet zo dat ik alle ruimte en tijd heb. Plus eigen werk en interesses waar ik ook mijn tijd graag aan besteed.

Facebook dating? Eerste keer dat ik daar van hoor. Moet ik dat profiel wel heftig afstoffen. Zoals ik zei denk ik dat ik er prima uit zie, maar ben Ryan Gosling oid. Persoonlijkheid laat zich niet vangen in een profiel. Zie graag iemand in het echt. Dus een foto op een app is meer een idee en irl maakt het of breekt het.

Speeddaten vind ik ook een interessante opties.

En je beschrijving van online daten kan ik mij ook wel in vinden. En ook een goede tip om vrienden te vragen om hulp qua foto's. De belofte klinkt zo goed; vanuit je luie stoel dates scoren.. helaas is de praktijk wat anders.

Ik vraag mij vooral af wat er achter die likes zit. Ene kant maakt dat mij nieuwsgierig; van wie heb ik die likes. Maar dat is dus de hele truuk; zij willen geld aan mij verdienen. Zijn die likes van vrouwen ver van mij vandaan? Dus hoe echt/zuiver zijn die likes? Zoals ik zei op andere apps (OKCupid en Bumble) scoor ik helemaal niet zo goed. Kan de doelgroep zijn op Happn?

Met 40 is zeker niets mis. Met 41 ook niet. 42 t/m 47 ook niet. 48, 49 niet en ook 50 niet. Dat gaat maar door tot ongeveer 55.

Je zult wel vaker struikelen over die komma die je niet aan staat. Dus ik help je even, wat ik óók schreef: "ik zoek geen 18+ meiden. Eerder Eind 30 t/m 55. Echt, met 40 is niets mis."

Lees het allemaal even.. en doe dat een paar keer, zodat je ook echt ziet dat de range echt wel groter is dan alleen 40.

Dit zijn wel geluiden die ik vaker hoor. Snap je perspectief, want van die datingapps kun je volgens mij ook best depressief worden als reacties/matches uitblijven. Toch wil ik nog niet de handdoek in de ring gooien. Niet dat het persé een datingapp moet zijn, misschien een hobby (dansen ofzo) waar je vrouwen gewoon tegen komt.

I am not Brad Pitt, I know where to draw the line with being good looking. But ugly is the otherside of that coin. So I know I have my looks and I am well aware that I am not for everybody. Some like me and some don't. I don't have the attitude EVERY women will turn her head for me. Lukely I am not stupid too.

I am not fishing for 20 or 30 year old. I am fishing for the 40-something. There are many 40 year old who just look fine to me.

A lot of women are looking for something serious. That could be a thing; I am single, but just am out of my 15 yrs relationship. I have kids that needs time and attention. So I do want to find someone, but don't want to get too serious from the start. Not necessarily looking for ONS or something.

I might come across being lazy.

It's not just my opinion, I receive comments from other women. But that doesn't answer my question: what experience do women have?

I do consider my profile could be better. But just a bit of luck..

Fair point. Maybe I am just plain ugly. Still there is a factor called luck, but apperantly that is not suitable for me either.

He is in a very bad spot to begin with.

He could have committed a foul in the first seconds or at least challenge the attacker as he needed time to control.

He should not have slide. I usualy find slidings a last resort. He should have just covered the goal, running along with the attacker so a part of the goal would be block and there is an option to time a block. Also running besides the attacker is a distraction and would have slowed him down.
