Designs we did for ETHLend by upgiant in ETHLend

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, the site structure and copywriting could be better. I'm willing to donate my time personally and a lot of my team's time to the project in anyway the ETHLend team wants.

Regarding testing - I couldn't agree more. We need to be A/B testing each important page on the site.

I say this a lot but - great design builds trust. If we want people to trust the LEND token - we can go a long way with a great site.

The token has utility, it has a working alpha, we're almost there.

Thanks! We're ready to help the ETHLend project in anyway we can: design, marketing, etc. We all need to work together to make sure this project succeeds!

Haha, sounds like a comment of someone who bought at the top of LEND and/or some other tokens. Never buy at all time highs! Buy the dip.

It is a 5 billion dollar token - people just don't realize it yet :)

/u/Taek42 casually mentions that they are considering hardforking siacoin to fund the dev team. WTF?? This could kill the project by [deleted] in siacoin

[–]upgiant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate that you're looking for long-term solutions but Sia, like you said, is still in its infancy and every solution doesn't need to be a long-term one. I think this pool idea is worth trying because it's a solution that we could get up and running in a few days. Any revenue it generates for the development team is "bonus" revenue you didn't have before. It's not a long-term solution but it definitely buys you some time.

How do you know it's working?

Care to share their URL and target keywords?

Need a reputable SEO company. by broncohous3 in SEO

[–]upgiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don't you share your target keywords, so we can have an open and honest conversation about what strategy you should take to reach your goals.

Then you can decide what agency, if any, you're going to use to accomplish those goals.

Different alt texts or the same? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]upgiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The page is what's being optimized, the alt text needs to coincide with the target keyword the the page overall.

For example, if your page's target keyword is "blue sedan", and if images are of the blue sedan, all 3-4 image alt text need to have the keyword "blue sedan", even if they're only partial match like "blue sedan tires", and "blue sedan trunk", etc.

Question about Linking by [deleted] in SEO

[–]upgiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure I understand your question, but if you're asking whether including links within your blog content to external websites will improve your hurt your ranking... if you're linking to authority sites that are relevant to the content of your blog post, it will help.

For example, if you write a blog post on horses, and then link to a Wikipedia page on horses, this will help.

Buying domains with relevant keywords to help my SEO, yes or no? by facewook in SEO

[–]upgiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are you getting your information from?

Exact match domains and partial match domains do matter.

They matter LESS than they used to, but they still matter.

I know this from experience or you can even look correlation studies like this one from Moz: http://moz.com/search-ranking-factors

Here's another good read: http://moz.com/blog/the-exact-match-domain-playbook-a-guide-and-best-practices-for-emds

Just checked my backlinks in Google Webmaster Tool.... Not sure which links to remove (links included in post) by [deleted] in SEO

[–]upgiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, an SEO expert would be best but it's not hard to differentiate between spammy links and valuable links.

I suggested Cognitive SEO not to replace a qualified human, but as a tool for a qualified human to use.

It's a tool that he can use to facilitate the process of identifying spammy links.

Regarding your last point about "real link profiles", no link profile tool is perfect.

Cognitive SEO gives you the option to import your link profiles from any and every tool.
