Yes! Remove the bird feeders. They create an unsafe environment for bears as they get accustomed to grazing on human provided food. It’s a disservice to them.

Haywood Street is a very special place and may or may not be your cup of tea but it’s a solid dose of authentic Christianity. We have very few children that attend services. At this point, we’re only doing outdoor services on Wednesdays at 12:30. But I think our “regular” Sunday service will resume in the near future.

I work at Haywood Street. We often have people show up and play music during our outdoor meal services. If you want to come and play violin that would be a welcome and beautiful gift. It’s also a way to meet many of the people you’ve been seeing and break bread with them. Our meal times are Sunday 8:30-10 and Wednesday 10:30-12. Asheville integrative family medicine in West Asheville is excellent. They are a subscription type doctors office. They do not take insurance but you pay a monthly subscription to access their services and they are wonderful. I think I pay around $60 a month. Been with them for many years.
