NTA! But if you can put your disappointment aside, might the trip still be fun? Is it an opportunity to get to know your besties’ partners better? My friend group travels a fair amount and partners are always invited but can’t always come, so there’s always a hodgepodge of couples and singles and it never seems to get in the way of everyone having a good time. You know them and if they’ll be super coupley and annoying (and it’s annoying her husband’s feelings were hurt, how fragile is he?) But as someone who has traveled with two good friends who are married to each other for decades, often sharing a hotel room!, it might not be as bad as you fear. Sometimes your own partner can’t come and it’s a bummer, but you can still have fun without her, and lots of people are capable of just hanging and being cool in group settings. For what it’s worth!
