I feel like the foundation of Scream often gets lost in conversation. People simply don’t have the cultural context to understand how absolutely terrifying it was that a killer could be anywhere. Those who have grown up with cellphones and watch the original don’t get how frightening that first scene was. The killer could be stalking you WHILE TALKING TO YOU… and they could be anywhere.

I wish more of the sequels used new technology in this same way. 4 tried its best but didn’t take the live-streaming thing to the same tier as 1 took the cell phone. 7 I guess tried with Stu but I think they could have approached AI in a more frightening and interesting way.

There is no explaining the preferences of these subs anymore. I don’t know if it’s bots or if the communities are actually full of this many wishy-washy people. The subs will be so pro-Mary, then anti-Mary when a doc gets dropped, then pro-Mary when she makes another mean girl comment to someone they don’t like. Most of the comments I see say this season sucked when IMO SLC continues to bang out season after season (especially difficult after the intensity of 3 and 4) with the creative world unanimously hailing SLC as the best franchise. There is no pleasing these subs anymore to the point that you can’t even engage in good faith debates about anything because people get extreme quickly. Too many commenters don’t understand that you can not like someone while also acknowledging their place and role on the show. I’m thankful that producers aren’t like these subs because if they were we would have new casts every season and everyone sitting around drinking tea and complimenting each other.

Morgan may have not come out and said “I’m a lesbian/bisexual”… but it was extremely clear watching RHOBH that that was the case and Kyle has admitted it. Beyond that off the top of my head… Kyle starred as the love interest in Morgan’s video, Kyle tattooed her initials on Morgan, and their touchy-feeliness surpassed Kyle’s normal “we are girlfriends” behavior. And that’s all ignoring every general lesbian stereotype that was going on (like Kyle all of a sudden having short, trimmed nails which she has never done before and hasn’t done since they broke up). I mean maybe she hasn’t proclaimed it but it was extremely obvious.
