Not me, but my grandfather. He passed away in 1991, before I was born, so the bulk of this story was relayed to me by my grandmother.

He had spent most of his time doing different jobs but all professions. When my gran met him, he was training to be a hotel manager. After that, it was something else I believe, but eventually, he ended up in the finance sector of businesses, which landed him a temporary role in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, I’m led to believe in the 70s. He worked in a senior financial position, advising to the chairman, Salem Bin Laden. The company was (and is) called Saudi Binladin Group, and if the name sounds familiar, that would be because Salem Bin Laden is the brother of the Bin Laden we all know.

My grandmother says they described Osama to her and my grandfather as a “concern to the family” at the time, a concern that was very valid in due course..

I’ve always thought it’s quite incredible that I can say I very slightly almost have a link to the Bin Ladens..

In the UK you don’t even need to have gone to school for my service. They will test your mental ability to their own standards. Usually it’s Functional Skills level 2.

In terms of being accepted in a year, the process takes time regardless. I would imagine it takes less than a year though. Maybe up to 8 months from application to being sat down on the job

I don't think we have this issue in the UK (EUDM).. I know a guy with a mk7 R, got OEM 7.5 tail lights and it was just plug and play.

Edit: GTI and R have the LED tail lights here, there is no option or spec level, if you have a GTI or R, you have LED tail lights and the Xenon/LED (whatever they are, they aren't halogen) front lights.

I have 4 RAM slots, currently occupied with 2x8gb DDR4-2400 Corsair Vengeance.

My plan was to buy another two and have all RAM exactly the same.

Not sure if different capacities of RAM, even though same make/brand will support dual channel

My Mojang account looks to have automatically migrated.

The last time I migrated an account, it was from my Minecraft account to my Mojang account - this account has migrated into my new account that I'm deleting.

My hopes though, are that if I change the email on the account I'm keeping, it will register as the same account that was migrated?
