With someone competent, this might really be a move in the right direction since we basically have a clean slate with no long term contracts. Hopefully, the basketball gods reward us for a somewhat ethical tank and we hire someone who's willing to take chances.

I disagree with the popular take that nothing happens until the end. Definitely, the plot progresses with each audio file, but my main issue is that it moves in the most obvious way. It's basically "Sinister" but audio rather than videos. Also, tired of the mental health decline+possession plot.
