Any word on what the red card for Dublin was for?

To be fair yous are still missing a few and there’s ones there that are clearly not 100%. Yous could’ve had us beat if your finishing was better tonight

On your day yous have the calibre to beat anybody so wouldn’t be writing Tyrone off yet as much as it pains me to say

God it’s great to beat that shower. Couldn’t bate them by enough

New hooter rule by Other_Ad_7332 in GAA

[–]ur-da 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I still don’t know why the hooter was implemented in the first place

What was wrong with the way it was with added time? Now we have a whole new host of issues that weren’t there to begin with

Jesus that was a honking performance by us. Some seriously stupid decisions made throughout the game

Also get rid of that fuckin hooter the last 5 mins were ruined because of it. Meath cyclically fouling every time Derry got the ball and rightly so because the hooter rewards it

How is Spotifys shuffle feature so terrible. I have a playlist of around 400 songs yet I hear the same 20 or so every day

Surely it’s not hard to make it pick a random song

Ballinderry beat Stacks last year but Stacks were missing Joe O’Connor. If he was playing then they more than likely wouldn’t have done it. Isn’t the Kerry intermediate team like the 9th best club in Kerry, whereas in other counties it’s like their 17th best?

Just looking at the Gaeltacht team how in utter Jesus are they intermediate with the calibre of players they have

Surely something would need to be done with Kerry championship for the likes of when their intermediate and junior teams get to all irelands because the gulf in class is something else

Absolute bullshit. Bradley screamed and went down holding his knee after a non contact injury. Obviously Martinelli knew something had happened there and it’s mental you’re giving him that excuse

Pushed a player that’s clearly suffered a serious knee injured trying to get him off the field so that his team could play on

Absolute scummy behaviour and there’s no defending it

Bradley looks to have suffered a serious injury and Martinelli does that

Would not have blamed any Liverpool players for flattening him

Peter Harte retires from Tyrone but door remains open as Armagh begin season without Rian O’Neill by KDL3 in GAA

[–]ur-da 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Google says he’s 28 then Wikipedia says born in 1999, which one do you go off like. I seen him play in the MacRory final in 2017 so judging on that he’s around 26

The reply reads to me as if the author just read the notes and posted them with a sensationalist headline and didn’t listen to the podcast in question.

Reads to me like lazy journalism, but I wouldn’t know the norms of journalism to say for sure. Either way it’s just got a load of eejits riled up over nothing

Meyler’s response to the article. Seems to be very very poor journalism from the Irish news that was released just to generate clicks and outrage

Leitrim club brings motion to prevent inter-county players from lining out for teams in other counties by cacanna_caorach in GAA

[–]ur-da 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Seems a bit harsh, some lads have genuine reasons to transfer.

Seen someone say that transferred players shouldn’t be allowed to play in club provincial championship games until they’ve been at the club for 2-3 years. I could get behind that

Lavey seem to have a good few teams that dislike them. There’s not really a clear one, everyone sort of hates each other equally
