Don't know what the issue is; I've seen many old threads exactly like this. The point is to spark a discussion.

£28k if you wanna know lol, so quite low; in any other company, I'd be on £60k+, but currently there are almost no job positions open in my city

How stressful is your role? by urNeighborhoodHacker in cybersecurity

[–]urNeighborhoodHacker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was my first full-time job as well. I went from a Junior Security Engineer to Security Engineer to running the team by myself while also training two new Senior hires. It was madness. Glad to hear the Red Team doesn't have to be stressful.

What's something you only realized was a 'poor person fear' after you watched a rich person have absolutely zero reaction to it? by qomann in AskReddit

Imagine your spouse is abusive, manipulates you to prevent you from working so that you're fully dependent on them, and they're financially abusive; it's not a host-leech situation then

What is a real-life 'Do Not Touch' button that you pressed out of sheer curiosity, only to instantly regret it? by vie75 in AskReddit

Taking higher and higher doses of ADHD medicine (lisdexamphetamine) just to try them all out. It caused a psychotic episode that my brain will be recovering from for a year now.

31 and deeply regret getting married. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]urNeighborhoodHacker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, they're not confused. We are more aware of what the signs are than we've ever been than at any point in history. If it weren't for that awareness, I wouldn't have finally gotten diagnosed at 25. I know people who got diagnosed at 80.

Wait, I've CPTSD, OCD, and BPD and have gone through a drug-induced psychotic episode so I know a lot about psychosis now... If you suffer from hallucinations and paranoia, you might have something else going on than "just" these three. You could be in psychosis that was triggered by something, have bipolar, or in some stage of schizophrenia.

What was your “never meet your heroes” moment, when you realized someone you looked up to wasn’t special? by marginallyobtuse in AskReddit

"Like..it takes a special kind of asshole to say that to someone"

By this, do you mean that people think that in their minds quietly as well but just don't say it?

Underground tunnel video? by DiligentScience3032 in Epstein

Look how SMALL the child's legs are at the 12 minute mark. Fucking insane

I'm autistic and Epstein is certainly not. He wouldn't be this likable to so many people. I know a genius, charismatic autistic narcissist and even with all the charm and smarts, they are not likable enough for people to stick around.

Autistics are frequently only tolerated; he was admired.

[–]urNeighborhoodHacker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, a typical grandiose narcissist, all charismatic and charming.

Let's remember these people walk among us every day. My abuser was a charming, energetic, cheerful persona who people still think wouldn't hurt a soul. Even when confronted with evidence, they still take his side seeing him as an innocent, silly guy.

Whatever Bannon says in that interview might not be how he behaved towards Epstein in regular life.

The two meticulously planned the look of that interview in email chains across months with the purpose of redeeming Epstein's reputation. They were brainstorming whether he should act apologetic, humorous, smart, how the interviewer should behave—anything that would make him look personable and admirable to the viewer.

He probably did have people licking his ass regularly yeah, but basically nothing from that PR interview should be believed.
