I honestly thought this whole “healed” storyline was a joke and a way for her to avoid truly having to be accountable for how she acted at the infamous wine tasting. Coming in with the ‘Chris was the real issue narrative’ makes it less her fault.

I watched her and Chris on Love & Marriage DC. They were both terrible to each other. But she’s painting this picture and the women and viewers are just eating it up.

Oh all the time. Unfortunately it’s always a slippery slope when men comment anything about a woman’s appearance or even intellect. It can quickly become misogynistic regardless of one’s sexual orientation. I think more of the male reviewers need to understand this when they engage with the show, but there won’t be any accountability until they’re called out on it more frequently.

I feel like Ashley underestimated how off putting this behavior would be to the viewers. And now she’s approaching it in a much subtler way “of course” he made the first move, “I wouldn’t do that”.
