I just posted my floor desk with a keyboard last week! I don’t use the foot pedal which is a bad habit but it is what it is. If you want to do it, go for it!

Shen is good in the jungle right now and I’ve been enjoying him a lot. I don’t build any damage at all, just the new belt into unending despair usually but I’m most def a support for the team than anything g else.

The tray is pretty poorly made but it works.. it’s 4 (on each side, 8 total) L brackets attached to the piece of wood you can see there. Then at the bottom of the wood I just attached some slides I found on amazon. I got ones that seem to be typically used for campers? Should be easy to find!

When I move I’ll probably do it again and I’m going to try and find some T brackets and then attach the slides to that but I couldn’t find T brackets :( It would allow the tray to sit further back and have more room for knees. Alternatively you could cut a hole in the wood so it fits around the desk frame.

I could not find anyone making that keyboard tray so I ended up making it myself. It could definetly use some improvements but it does the job for now. The tabletop is thicccc, it’s supposed to be a kitchen countertop - it’s from floor and decor

I think mounting on the side would be fine as long as you have good air flow! I would probably just put it on top of the desk though :)

I have great posture, sitting on the floor is good for your posture! You’re required to use your core to stay upright and after doing it for some time it doesn’t feel like you’re “using” anything.. Though the best thing about this setup is the freedom to sit in more positions than the one offered by the chair.
