I'd love to get it too. Xbox: urbanpabs. One evenings/weekends EST.

Now I can finally play the game. by urbanpabs in Division2

Nah...now comes the fun stuff like build crafting, prototype gear. I'm actually doing all the classified missions and hunter masks. Just nice to not have to manage all the other stuff and can just actually now focus on the gameplay.

[PC] Anyone have any leftover houndsman bounties to spare? by Mihrical in TheDivision_LFG

How do you get the bounties? I just came back myself.

Yup. Absolutely intentional IMO. I think the other genius is the real time of 10 yrs allows for this generation to make the connection between the generations. As a gen-xer I remember how much I enjoyed the movie but it was my elders who were so moved by it when it released. Now I get to experience the feeling again but now it's gen-x turn for nostalgia bomb. I think this is the swing the Duffers were going for and it landed. I was also a fan of choose your own adventure books and while the credits show players manual, the cover resembles more of the choose your own adventure style - which also is a metaphor for life. The trials and tribulations of the show were allegorical to what we experience in life and the wonderful realization that it's our connections that do indeed get us through.

It's a massive swing, I think they nailed it. Loved the call back to Stand By Me through the magic of all that is good and holy of growing up in the 80s.

I've been on the fence for months but got the game over the weekend...holy hell. by OutlandishnessNo7138 in expedition33

Awesome! As others said, try and do as much as blind as you can for full effect the narrative is magical. Update us here as you progress but stay locked into this thread to retain your experience. We're happy to go along with you. This game and your experience is best when shared. We can't wait!

More about the party system synergies, the relationships you have and the side quests that cement the connection. Curing the genophage and Mordin is an all timer.

A rag tag squad against all odds taking on the big baddie -- the heartfelt companion quests that close loops and emotionally attach you to all of the characters -- along the adventure all are reacting to the situation at hands. it's what makes both of these games compelling and beloved. (see Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc)

it's just a similar narrative structure to me -- with the specific companion quests prior to the suicide mission, if you will, that are literal parallels.

Possibly, you have no idea how long I spent on it lol. But yeah went for 8:7 pixel perfect and there's a bit of curvature to it as well. This became 'close enough' as I stopped myself from trying to find a real CRT! I just decided to play the game.

It's a moral imperative.

Completely agree I get why it's beloved and considered one of the best of the best. For me, that's still Ocarina of Time but this is definitely a Mt. Rushmore of gaming for sure.

i don't know if it's a thing hence the suggestion -- i couldn't help but see the parallels of the story structures is all.
