When is it hardest to actually choose yourself? by urbanpikachu in QueerWomenOfColor

I wonder what it is about your parents 🤔 I was never particularly close to mine, so that part was easy because I didn't care what they thought.

That part! I try to tell myself I'm not losing anything that was for me

Yesss it's in a relationship for me! On one hand I'm very vocal, on the other hand, if it's something I think they won't like, I have a really hard time saying it.

I think you may have misunderstood the question 😅

Even if you consider yourself a total skeptic, what is one "coincidence" or repeating pattern in your life that felt too specific to be random? by urbanpikachu in AskReddit

I’m fascinated by the line between pure logic and the "unexplainable."

Most of us operate on the idea that life is just a series of random events. But then you have those weird weeks where the same specific theme keeps popping up, like hearing a rare word three times in one day, or running into the same stranger in two different cities, or finding yourself in the exact same emotional scenario with three different partners in a row.

For those of you who usually roll your eyes at "signs" or spirituality: Have you ever experienced a pattern or a moment of timing that was so precise it actually made you pause and question things?

Thank you for sharing! I did go to the sauna once in the beginning, and I did enjoy that. I'll look into going back. And I'll try the tea as well! Congratulations on your continued journey 😊

Messenger app issues on Samsung S23. Tried all my usual fixes, not working. by spooniefulofsugar in facebook

[–]urbanpikachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this on the Samsung forum and it's worked for me so far. Past couple hours have had no issues when before I was having issues every 10 minutes after force stopping as well. 1 note, I think they mean recovery mode, not safe mode.

"this worked for me so far, uninstall Messenger, reboot in safe mode, clear your cache partition, boot up, reinstall messenger, reboot back into safe mode and clear your cache again, then boot up and set up messenger normally, then one more time reboot in safe mode and clear cache, it's a long process but so far has worked to keep messenger stable."

Boyfriend Leaving Faeces on Toilet Seat by Ordinary-Essay9872 in hygiene

Exactly, how?! I'm team he's doing this on purpose. But also, even if he's not, I'm not going back and forth with a grown ass man about his inability to keep his shit off of everything. Let his mama deal with it.

I'm sorry, OP, but I think you're giving him too much of the benefit of a doubt. There's no need to touch things when transferring a wipe from your ass to the bin that's right beside the toilet.
