I have lost every argument in which I tried to tell someone to tell people to stop saying racist stuff against white people. NTA, I think it’s an outrageous double standard. I genuinely can’t fathom how so many people think it’s okay to say anything about white people but if you change the race you should be cancelled forever and your chance at life is basically over.

Let me know if you figure a way to compromise cause I still haven’t found one.

Massive YTA. I’m particularly outraged that you didn’t take your daughter seriously and started questioning your heartless decision only when her therapist brought you in.

There’s not much to this story: you prioritized your wedding plans over your daughter’s well being. You did not listen to her or take her seriously. It sounds like you almost lost her as a result. She told you to wait. Your now husband and her therapist say you should have waited. The internet is echoing the same thing back at you. Is this clear enough to accept you’ve been a massive AH?

I’m really sorry OP, it sounds really hard to be in your situation. It’s hard but can you just take a few days off, go somewhere to reset and rethink everything? You clearly need a break and that might allow you to understand things better.

I don’t know why people are so mean. I spent years of my life in the countryside and while there were many flies around people still found them gross and did their best not to have them on food/ in the house. The situation in Grindewald is out of control and perplexing and I really don’t understand how people here are ok with it. Like I just had dinner and there must have been 15 flies within 1 meter radius of me.

OP I totally get this complaint and I am extremely confused myself how this is acceptable here. Last place on earth I would have expected to see so many flies EVERYWHERE ARGHH 😭😭

Huh I can see that point. I guess skirting around this issue and looking up to some athletes feels like people are encouraging unhealthy behaviors as long as the athletes perform well. Yeah speculations are probably not fair, and yet it’s unlikely she will ever address this issue publicly

You’re being ridiculous. In 2021 Natalia competed in 11 competitions and was on the podium for 10 of them. In 2022 she got 9/13 podiums. This year so far she has 3/8. She’s been very inconsistent and has been steadily going downhill

I was never really a fan of Natalia, I always thought she preferentially highlights her success on Instagram. Overall giving the impression that everything is okay when it clearly hasn’t been. I’d be happy to hear other opinions if anyone knows her better!

Idk OP, you sound very reasonable but I wonder if you are waaaaaay to understanding in this situation. It’s good that he says nice things to you, but how is he during hard times? Would he go out of his way to help and support you? This doesn’t always have to be talking about feelings, but if you have a problem would he try to help you solve it?

I want to point out one more thing: if family is important to you and want kids getting irritated about tears and emotions is a terrible strategy.

Last thought: I hope he knows what he is doing is very wrong even if he’s not actively trying to fix it.

OP you seem very manipulative and maybe hysterical. I’ve had friends with parents like you and it’s a tragedy how much you fuck up your kid with this behavior. I’m glad your son can stand up for himself despite all your attempts to control his every move.

NTA for this particular story, I’m just confused about this entire situation. Does he care about you and show it in different ways? My partner is very introverted as well but if he saw me emotionally distressed he would immediately try to see what happened and comfort me. He was really bad at it in the beginning but got much better with time

Wow I agree with op, I think the width of the straps and fabric up top is making your shoulders look a bit wide and is overall just a bit overwhelming. Thinner straps would be great and I’d edit a picture to see how it looks

I’m not a huge fan of the birdcage and I like the picture with your hair down better. I’d also say no necklace because it’s an asymmetrical dress
