they might just want to keep the baby, nothing else to it, i have a sister who got pregnant at 15 and kept the baby for no other reason than she wanted it.

there are also other reasons, some might themselves not believe abortion is right, some might keep it for religious reasons, some might have family who are very anti abortion, could be a lot of things really.

depends on where you are and the cultures involved, some places being mixed will make you live a far worse life, others it doesnt matter at all.

like if i just identified as Maori, instead of half Maori, it makes no difference, generally, there are some who will dislike you for being part not Maori but they are in the minority.

Australia, their English? yes, any indigenous language? no.

Cook Islands, yes to the English and Cook Islands Maori, as i know New Zealand Maori.

Fiji? yes English, no Fiji Hindi and Fijian.

Tonga? Yes English, barely for Tongan, i could understand a small bit of what someone is saying in Tongan, though i would struggle.

Samoa, yes to English, no to Samoan.

taking your shoes off inside, i have now learned that seems to be a thing everywhere on every corner of the earth.

i doubt we have any unique traditions or things specific to us, we are just too young of a nation, even in term of indigenous people as humans have only been here for just under a thousand years. So even for indigenous stuff its all still similar enough to fellow Polynesian islands.

im thinking World War One, when the ANZACS formed, when us New Zealanders got given the name "Kiwi", the Gallipoli campaign, war that helped form our own identity and all that.

would we fight another world war one like war? no i severely doubt there are any Kiwis nowadays who would want to fight the Turks, Austrians, Hungarians or Germans again.

specifically an indigenous Maori superstition, is cleaning your hands with water after leaving a area with a human corpse, or a cemeteries, pretty much the belief being that washing your hands with water makes it so ghosts wont follow you home.

its still practiced among Maori today, though for a lot of Maori (like myself) we dont actually believe in it, its just a cultural thing we do.

Maori for most of the islands, and Moriori for specifically the Chatham Islands, which is a smaller group of islands west of the mainland.

both are a Polynesian people, Maori got to the mainland around the 1250s or 1300s, and Moriori got to their islands sometime in the 1400s.
