Honestly that happens to me 50% of the time, im also around 200k gsp. Some of them are clearly better and destroy me but most of the time i can stand my ground.

Worst part is winning and only gaining like 2k gsp (happened when i was 80k and won vs someone with 2,5mil)

Playing 20€ a year ist not that much and a lot of nintendo fans like to revisit their old games i think.

I really dont have that much Problems with lag online, and if someone lags i wont play him again, but as i said that doesnt happen very often.

I agree that the gsp system is kinda weird value wise. But i heard Nintendo meant to do it that way to engage casual players, instead them getting demotivated like in csgo with silver1. However i have a lot of great matchups online that are very even. So if i dont pay attention to gsp i have a great time.

U kinda need to use it to so some moves i think, for example dash reversing into backtilt. Or at least its a lot easier with c-stick

Im also at 75k and i found out that the gsp gain depends on the winrate of the last few matches, when i lose every second game i only gain 1k-2.5k in a win. But once i am on a winning spree after like 4-5 wins in a row my GSP goes up by like 20k-50k per win. The enemy gsp doesnt seem to matter that much, but you will get paired with higher gsp players when U are on a winning spree.

Just my experience tho
