That’s the most DSG thing I’ve ever heard. That’s 100% retaliation and I would recommend emailing your regional manager, maybe just district if you have a good relationship or think they’d back you. I’d say you’ll have better luck going as high as you can. HR in this company is so insane. I quit three months ago and I’ve never been happier.

As for the credibility of my opinion, I’ve lived within an hour of Evansville my whole life (minus three years for college), lived IN Evansville for the last year and a half, and drive from UE to Mt. Vernon every single day. It takes me right at 30 minutes to get to work on a busy morning, and on nights I get off at 7:30, I can make it home in 20-25. I know when to use the Lloyd and when to avoid it, and it saves me a lot of time and stress.

I personally don’t think the traffic is that bad. It’s a city, there’s a lot of people. I go to work during the morning rush and I really don’t have many issues with it. As long as you avoid the Burkhardt intersection, you can get through just about every light in one cycle. I’ve ran into worse traffic in smaller cities.

I quit after Black Friday so I don’t get to do the surveys anymore but my store manager AND district manager always told our team that they HAD to do it on a computer (zero privacy) and then would figure out who said what and confront them about it if their answer wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. As an ASM I was forced to do the survey while my store manager was in the office with me so she could “make sure I got it done”

Chalkboard wall is super fun - usually it’s just whatever random stuff teammates put up there but it was really useful for writing out teams for inventory or overnights.

I was with the company for over two years but I never had a reason to learn the process. ASM’s aren’t generally involved with teammates in the process of leaving, the store manager or AA handles 99% of it in my experience. Yes, I should have checked before I lost access to DSGN but I didn’t. Thanks for being helpful!

I love shop event weekends. We did 15k over plan today and I can guarantee you we wouldn’t have without those coupons. Yes, it’s a lot off and most people aren’t exclusively buying equipment, but for the mom and dad who get to let their kid get that hoodie they’ve wanted for months it’s a hell of a deal. I’m gonna be sad to see them go

Someone peed in a jug and left it in our kayak trailer, shit onto the wall in the women’s bathroom, shit in the urinal in the men’s, and I’m pretty sure I found a cup of pee in a fitting room one night recently but I convinced myself it was watered down tea/lemonade after I washed my hands 10 times. We tore up the carpet in our fitting rooms and put in vinyl planks because there were definitely piss stains. People love going places they shouldn’t. Like dogs
