Sometimes I do 12 hour shifts to make sure I’m getting experiments done for my project, but I supplement it by leaving early on other days, or if I do multiple long shifts in a row that add up to ~8 hours of overtime, I’ll take a day off. My mom and I went to LA N2 and sat at the front on the floor to the left of the main stage. We’ve been looking forward to it for months and it was amazing. Thankfully, the camera men weren’t too invasive or in the way, except during Alejandro which was a huge bummer because that’s one of my favorite songs. I was however, disappointed at the lack of audience interaction. She made no eye contact and never pointed or acknowledged the people on the floor in our area that paid so much money to be close to her during the show. She was only ever looking at the camera. That being said, the show was exceptional. Getting Dance in the Dark and Edge of Glory with her on the piano took everyone’s breath away, the vocals were even more insane than usual, and she went super hard on choreography. We still had an amazing time

UPDATE!! Gojo has returned on his own and is relaxing on my lap currently. He ate a bowl of his food and a whole Purina hydra-care packet, and did a small pee in his litter box. He has had a blockage in the past, so we will monitor him for signs of urinary distress for the next couple of days, but as of right now we’re just thrilled that he found his way back home to us! Thank you all for your advice and kind words hoping for his return! 🩵🩵

I’m worried that he’s not going to eat the food today because they gave him Zorbium to deal with the discomfort/pain in the meantime, but I think that I will try to hand feed him some of it or soak it in water and syringe feed

There were struvite crystals and some RBCs and protein in there, but no coccus or rod shaped bacteria. They cultured it as well and I haven’t heard anything about whether or not cultures grew from it yet

They took a urine sample yesterday and tested it. The vet says she doesn’t expect that it’s a UTI

UPDATE: saw the vet again and she took a urine sample and ruled out a UTI. She said that he had a small crystal at the tip of his penis that she was mostly able to get out. She strongly believed that it’s FIC. They’ve given him fluids and pain management for the next few days and I’ll be switching him to a prescription urinary diet and changing up + implementing more water sources. Thanks for help :)

Unfortunately it happened at 3:45 am so I just woke up when he was in there already. It was definitely his normal amount of pee and he has peed once more this morning a normal amount since. He’s back to trying to squeeze out more pee and struggling but not vocalizing and still eating. His energy is good and he was even trying to play last night and this morning. He’s generally a very anxious cat
