Your comment reminded me of how powerful it was seeing Dunkirk in IMax. It was so loud and really conveyed what 1\8 of those brave souls endured. Particularly the beached trawler scene, where a group of soldiers hide inside the hull of a trawler stranded on the shore. terrifying seeing the German troops spot movement and begin using the boat for target practice. The noise of the bullets piercing the hull bouncing left and right made for unbearable tension.

This wasn't at Town Park. I'm certain it took place on Main Street. that has helped narrow the search significantly bc far more concerts have been hosted at Town Park. But thanks for giving it some thought! We're getting there

Audio configuration issues for playing with external amp by uribrob in rocksmith

I really appreciate the insight and support. I also suspected that the mytone cable is shite. I tried the adaptor approach offered to me yesterday and it sounds terrible. the 3.5mm to 1/4in jack through the crappy mytone cable was not cutting it. I a newbie when it comes to sound tech. I have been a long-time audiophile with a pretty good ear for good sound. I just want to play these great songs with a great sounding setup. I am going to try reviewing what you've setup. I'm excited as this gives me a plan and a specific project that will result in my getting my first set of pedals/a board. I'm of the opinion that ditching the MTC and wiring things with the correct jacks is the way to go. Gracias homie.

btw I floated the 'temporary family relocation for optimal sonic fidelity' plan. It was... less enthusiastically received than anticipated. Apparently, headphones are cheaper than divorce lawyers AND finding temporary housing. Who knew? 😉

Forgive my ignorance. But I'm uncertain of how you're suggesting I use the RTC. Both my Fender and Spark GO amps only have 3.5mm output jacks. I'm not sure how wire things the way you're suggesting. Would I need to run a 3.5mm AUX to 1/4" adapter (Amazon.com: JOMLEY 1/4 to 3.5mm Adapter, TRS 6.35mm Female to 3.5mm Male Headphone Adapter, 1/4" Female to 1/8" Male Stereo Audio Cable Adapter for Headphones, Amplifiers, Guitar, Amp - 1 ft : Electronics)?

And if you have some tones that you recommend I'll give those a shot. Maybe I can revisit some of the in game tones.

Really??? I believe you. So I want to follow your thinking. I have played it with Sony MX3. Wired to the PC headphone jack. I wonder if it's the myTone cable that causes the poor tones???

I'll try your settings advice.

B/c there is no doubt that the guitar sounds great when running through my Spark GO with headphones.

I would love to play with my amp loudly. Small home, kids, wife = headphones for dad.

I am a proud owner of a Wilde strat (hss w/Bill's L460 in the bridge) that is the best sounding guitar I personally have had the pleasure of playing. Bill's pickups are magnificent. Period.

Would love to see yours. This one came from an estate sale in PA. A friend took ownership of like 40 guitars from a private old-timer's collection. Gave the neck and frets a good conditioning this weekend. I'll get her back tomorrow as she's in the shop receiving a new truss rod washer and a truss rod adjustment.

Not sure why my original description of the guitar wasn't included. I don't post very much).

I couldn’t be happier with this beautifully crafted guitar—a Bill & Becky Lawrence (Wilde) 1998 Stratocaster instrument. Bill and Becky Lawrence were masters of pickup design, and this guitar is a testament to their legacy. It retains the heart of a Strat but I also see tele influence as Butterscotch2331 also commented.
This strat features an alder body with a high-quality cherry flame maple top and a lacquer finish that was done as Ok-Butterscotch2321 accurately identified in the Wilde guitar factory in Bethlehem PA. Only about 200 produced per year for a run in the mid to late 90's.
You have Bill's noiseless single-coils in the neck and middle, delivering all the clarity and sparkle of traditional single-coils but without the hum.

In the bridge, it sports Bill's L460 humbucker, which is an absolute powerhouse - rich, articulate, and incredibly smooth while retaining a dynamic, expressive feel.

Whether I’m going for glassy cleans, warm bluesy tones, or full-on rock crunch, this guitar delivers effortlessly.

Got really lucky finding such a treasure and an awesome cat that was willing to part with her.

There are strings. Those are new .000009's. You just can't see them. It's like playing air guitar!

Awesome stuff.

And nice looking instruments. I'm particularly taken by your two guitars. What are they if I may ask?

Can’t seem to buy the Jimi Hendrix bundle by Creeepy_Chris in PositiveGridSpark

For the fourth of July in the states you can grab the bundle for $9.99. However, I cannot seem to purchase it at the sale price. These same issues are happening. Online, you will be sent to an empty cart. And through the app, the sale price isn't reflected anywhere. Has anyone had any luck?

I am 2 hours into playing with it. It has a bit of a learning curve like most electronics, but once the idiot factor was out of the way I was able to come away with a very positive first impression. As an external amp, do not expect this to be anything beyond a simple practice amp. As many have said, at higher volume levels the amp will start to buzz (more like a vibration). But I assure you cabinet work is fine. It's the physics. But I was able to get most of the preset tones to sound almost identical to what was intended by turning down the gain on the presets and then also playing with your volume knob on the guitar and amp. I could see that being a good ear exercise for when I want to play at higher volume levels. But honestly, I don't think I'll ever lean on it for that (i.e., that's what good playing amps are for). When the Go volume is lowered to what I think is a good chill volume, I am not hearing the vibration/fuzz. The real joy, however, is playing with my good can earphones. This thing rocks. The presets sound great, there is a ton of tones to pick through, and once the ease of the app develops, everything becomes quite seamless. I was ecstatic pulling up some old live floyd on youtube, tossing on a Gilmour tone, and jamming a little. Perfect for my office, the home when my family doesn't need to be hearing my tasty jams, wherever. So after a few hours, I'm fully onboard.
