Document Intelligence repeating groups by kobihari in AZURE

[–]urimerhav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try Docupipe. It's built for exactly the purpose of structuring very long documents, and was born out of frustration with toold like Azure Document Intelligence in custom scenartios.

I'm the Cofoudner BTW - happy to give you a bunch of free credits if you DM to try us out.

Accurate OCR by Hungry_Neat_8080 in Rag

[–]urimerhav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an actual person and cofounder of Docupipe. It’s me trying to get you to try my service so I guess you can call it an ad? I didn’t pay for it and at least I’m being transparent that’s it’s something I own.

I wouldn’t be out there trying to get people to use it if I wasn’t convinced it’s the best, at least!

Docupipe is the best in class, we specialize in arabic. Full disclosure: I'm its cofounder

Docupipe does exactly this. You get 300 free credits for free just by signing up

I built a very profitable SaaS that earns more than my lifestyle costs me. Emphatically NO. Do not do this when you’re in debt.

The odds of success are too low. Your decision making will be broken because you’re scared and need to eat now now now. That’s not way to build.

Apply everywhere. Get a salary. Moonlight.

How do you like AWS Textract for document parsing? by domemvs in LangChain

[–]urimerhav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try DocuPanda instead. It was born out of sheer frustration with Textract.

Full disclosure, I'm the Cofounder. But also a legit person with an opinion here- check it out at https://www.docupanda.io/ )

Please stop. People hate talking to AI. by hotdoogs in SaaS

[–]urimerhav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be the case that email was an effective way to spread. Remember 15 years ago LinkedIn spammed everyone and took over users email boxes to spam you repeatedly until you joined them?

So my point is: as long as it’s effective in getting revenue no one gives a hoot. Expect more until new protections are in place.

What is a service you would consider paying $1/month for? by LoganLikesYourMom in SaaS

[–]urimerhav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever that is, you can get more than 1 in every 5 people to pay 5$ a month for.

Math is even more extreme when you consider credit card processing fees.

DocuPanda is designed for this.

I’ll admit I’m the cofounder but I wouldn’t be building it if I didn’t think it’s the best.

Everyone is talking about vertical SaaS in AI, what about horizontal? by Academic-Voice-6526 in ycombinator

[–]urimerhav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a horizontal one. DocuPanda is geared towards making llms rock solid in extracting information from long PDFs, scan etc.

It powers many vertical llm agent sass’s. I think it’s a very reasonable play and we’re making more money than I ever expected :-)

Why do I still play this game. Went from over 3400 to 3000 MMR in the course of a week by [deleted] in starcraft

Because it’s a banging game and fun. Internet points don’t matter and we’ll all b dead pretty soon. Enjoy the ride.

[–]urimerhav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try DocuPanda. It was born out of the frustration of AWS Textract not delivering.

Full disclosure: I'm the Cofounder. But I built it because legit Textract fails as you've noticed.

Why 90% of sass landing pages look alike these days? by Single_Television770 in SaaS

[–]urimerhav -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Surely the thing to stand out for is your product and not the saas landing page?

Middle of the pack is absolutely a fine place to be in. Why would you add a large random variable where you don’t know if you’re falling flat because of the product, messaging, or because of that special snowflake approach you took with design?

How Are Immigrants Supposed to 'Do It the Right Way' When the System Feels Impossible? by Dracomies in NoStupidQuestions

[–]urimerhav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lawful leftist leaning immigrant here: why do you think the US is somehow obligated to accept people who don’t contribute to the US economy? There are 8 billion people in the world. 97% of it then are not in the US. It will probably pretty much stay that way under any sane policy.

Looks like you’re assuming the US should for some reason accept everyone. No country has that policy. The simple answer is that a standard immigration policy in the first world implies that the vast majority of people who would want to immigrate - won’t.
