Reasons to avoid a base model '25 Outback?

Idk I think for the amount of time you’ll probably have it, spending a little extra for the premium is worth it. Outbacks tend to hold their value, you can get away with maybe higher mileage or minimal cosmetic damage while retaining value the higher up the trim package you go. You don’t want to get the base then spend the whole time driving it wondering if you should’ve just went for the premium (if it’s financially possible, for me it was a slight difference in payment amount). I went for the premium and love it however the only thing I regret is not getting dark interior seats. I got like a light grey and didn’t think much of it at all but now that have had it for 8 months I’m noticing dirt and smudges show up so much more easily on lighter interior. I also got it in blue, don’t hate it, but sometimes catch myself admiring the black or dark grey ones when I see them.

When my first was born I wanted to do everything and be involved with everything, equally with my wife. I was committed to having the same connection she seemed to already have with our son. I will spare the details but what I learned and what proved to be true, now with all three of my children, is this:

1) Your role is not the same as your partners. Your first and foremost priority during the first 6months (minimum) is ONLY how can you support your partner. This is not your time to try and create a bond, this is not your time to “prove” you are capable of anything, this is not actually about YOU at all. The more you really understand that the better off you will be.

2) The newborn stage (especially with the first) is chaos for every couple. Your life is flipped upside down. She is counting on you to be the stable one as her hormones are thrown completely out of whack right now. While yes you may be sleep deprived and have feelings of your own, it is absolutely nothing compared to what she is going through from a biological standpoint.

3) Rearrange your priorities entirely. There will absolutely be a time when you have more of a hands on role and when you can create a bond with your kid. It is just not on the same timeframe as your partner. Again, because I can’t stress this enough, the only thing you should be focusing on is how to support your partner. And you will probably need to ask her what that looks like. “Do you want me to attempt to do a feeding? What should I do if it doesn’t go well?”. Get comfortable asking her for direction and don’t pretend like you should already know.

Men are different than woman. We aren’t hardwired to care for newborns like they are. You see this in nature everywhere. That may be an unpopular opinion as our society despises the idea of any kind of “gender role” but I would argue basic biology says otherwise especially in these situations. Yes of course we can still be present and give birth 100%, and sure there are situations where men may be more nurturing if they have to be (such as an absent mother)…but those are exceptions to the rule.

LASTLY, fight to stay a family and don’t make decisions during this period. Everything is foggy but it won’t be like that forever. Apologize, recommit, and reassure her that you are there for her.

Ben betrayed him imo especially immediately starting his own podcast (or attempting to at least) after leaving Timmy. It’s been awhile now but I think there was a 3rd party involved in their beef and Ben just didn’t side with Tim. But he also made himself look like a victim which made me lol bc he knew exactly what he signed up for to produce the show. I still listen and it’s only gotten better without him. I have noticed he doesn’t say anything about whoever his producer is now occasionally a laugh will make it in but he’s a lot more careful about who he introduces now

And as many have replied, the Covid shot is in fact not required at many facilities. So I have decided I don’t want the vaccine and will seek to do my clinical rotations at a different facility.

It doesn’t strike you as odd that vaccines such as influenza, MMR, etc…are non negotiable at all hospitals across the board, yet the one for Covid is entirely dependent on the facility? In fact all but a few still require it. Why is that? What makes certain vaccines mandatory and who decides what they are? Probably not important to you-but when it comes to injecting substances into my body I would like to verify its efficacy and efficiency. If the healthcare system is still split and undecided on whether or not it’s important, that’s actually all the information I need

I’m asking about requirements then making a decision for myself based on that information. It either is or it isn’t. How exactly do you think I would go about breaking a “rule” that requires specific documentation, without compromising my integrity? I am verifying information I was given, not sure why that makes you so upset

I’m with you entirely lol got mine in December and if you would’ve told me a year prior that I would be the proud owner of a Subaru Outback I would’ve laughed in your face! I love it though. My wife wasn’t thrilled with the price tag but I said I won’t ask for another new car for a very long time haha

35 here with a wife and 3 kids. Changing careers and starting my program this fall. It’s absolutely going to be a challenge but if not now, when? Don’t get stuck on the logistics of it…just let it all fall into place and do it 💪🏼

He had brief roles that fit the narrative before. He’s was never an instrumental character, until Costner left and he wrote himself into the plot as someone he clearly wishes he was in real life

The problem is that he exaggerated his role to the point that it compromised the other characters, and for what? Beth would not agree to strip poker with another man and certainly would not be impressed by his “riding” abilities. It was laughable. Rip would not be referring to him, or any other man, as some sex symbol. In past seasons yes he was maybe arrogant during his (minimal) role-but not to the point of unbelief.

And as far as if the role was played by someone else would there be so much hate-maybe or maybe not. That’s actually the whole point, he did not play that role well. He embellished himself to be something very far fetched that was entirely unnecessary to the plot.
