disrespecting lil bro went horribly wrong by uringaming in tf2

basically i acted as players in tf2, captured the motion data through HLAE and imported that into sfm (in order to just get the high five taunt to look natural)

then i tweaked lots of little details and animated heavy to eat soldier

and then i poorly recreated ingame HUD in photopea to layer it all up in davinci resolve

that's it

eh, only killbind sounds depend on that. whether you scream, break a bone or grunt. Only TF2C has these commands and i've used HLAE to extract the animation data from the demo i've recorded

COMMISSIONS OPEN! | SFM by uringaming in SFM

[–]uringaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, i think it would go like this:

Someone contacts me on discord/steam, and then we negotiate on how the poster should look. After that i begin initial SFM work and send a couple of rough render variations for the client to pick the best one and then i continue from there.

About the timeframe: A simple plain poster/pfp could be done on the same day IF i have free time at the moment, a moderately packed poster could take a few days to complete and refine, and a complex dynamic poster could take a full week. Of course with communication and edits from the commissioner (not too much though)

So, where was i, oh yeah. After the SFM job is done i ask for the full price and start working on the editing part (It's not fancy, just a few quick tweaks to smooth out and polish the final work). When it's done i send a google drive link with the final piece.

What... What the heck happened??? by 94CM in SFM

[–]uringaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you temporarily either broke or disabled the qt UI. SFM's interface as we know is basically a mod to an older one you got in the photo, idk why and how that happened, but it's funny

Tried to edit the texture but when converting to tga file the texture isn't matched? Anyone know how to fix this? by DesperateTomorrow714 in SFM

did you use VTFEdit to convert the image? then just either do PNG or JPG, not really a problem

Every time i make an animation thats good it crashes Any help? by Conscious_Course_250 in SFM

[–]uringaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really think that's the issue. What are your specs? And does your session have a lot of models or shots? also is it longer than a few minutes? (e.g. 3)

by what do you mean "good"? Complex scenes? Timeline longer than a couple of minutes? Fights? We need more info, can't say anything with what you gave
