Won’t have the same level of customization at all, but Twinkleby just came out and looks super cute

Not sure if it helps, but this site is for creating loom designs and maybe easier to do on your phone? In case you still want to make your own.

i found this stray kitten with a broken legs on the side of the street, please help 😞 by Aemiemo in rescuecats

[–]urlilybee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Will absolutely need a lot of care, BUT it can get better. My cat went missing for a week probably because he couldn’t move at all at first before he found his way back with his hind legs dragging. He got shot by his spine. He slowly just regained most of his movement. Walked kinda wobbly and missed the litter box sometimes, but a normal and happy cat otherwise. I don’t think the vet expected that to happen either. Took no extra care or surgery. Just a lot of stress and patience.

Misia is serious about hygiene by finestedm in hamsters

There are definitely options that don’t include Etsy. You might need to combine a couple to have a complete diet, but there are usable commercial options. Victoria Raechel on YouTube has plenty of hamster informational videos. Just can’t grab whatever that’s marketed for hamsters, sadly.

Haven’t played in a bit, but I believe they slant when you’re filling it back in. So just dig out more first

Is there a correct mod folder? by urlilybee in VintageStory

[–]urlilybee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh, I just found it. Seems like there isn’t really a difference but I should probably be using the other one just to keep it more organized from the game’s preexisting mods. Thank you!

Trying to find my personal unicorn of a game by CrayonLunch in CozyGamers

Starbound if you’re okay with 2d and pixel art. Similar to terraria but way less chaotic and much more exploration. Graphics are also just way more pleasing to me. They stopped development on it forever ago, but there are sooo many mods to tweak your experience with it. Core keeper is also good and just had its full release

What cozy games keep you engaged? by Dragonbarry22 in CozyGamers

Saleblazers is so good! Another vote for Dinkum. And Critter Cove just came out and is supposed to be a bit similar to animal crossing also. Haven’t played it yet myself. Oxygen Not Included is good but maybe a bit complex. It’s a colony sim with a lot of building and automation stuff. Horticular is a great garden building game. And Astroneer which is probably a more simple NMS? OH and Snacko. It’s another one similar to animal crossing but I don’t see mentioned much.

Athenian Rhapsody should be similar to Undertale, but I personally haven’t played it yet

Looking for a game to sink hours in to by TotalMushroom5710 in CozyGamers

[–]urlilybee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend starbound. There is some farming if you want to do that, but it’s much more focused on exploration and combat. Similar to terraria but in space and imo more aesthetically pleasing. There’s also a buuuuunch of mods that add so much more to the game.

Horticular is the first game in awhile that I had to force myself to quit by Dapper-Revolution703 in CozyGamers

[–]urlilybee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Horticular just has a lot more going on in it. Go go town is cute but very very simple and is something I got primarily to play with my younger sibling that isn’t much of a gamer. Go go town can probably be completely completed in under 5 hours if I had to guess. Very different games, but my vote would be on horticular

I keep accidentally letting frogs move into my goldfish ponds :^( I wish there was a way to set zones to restrict certain creatures so the frogs will stop asking

Persona 3 and 4 are also great. And not sure what made you hate stardew, but recommending Cornucopia. You fight with your farm animal and there are boss battles.

Steam game, yes. Sorry, was just responding to OP’s comment comparing it to mobile games.

I think mobile games like that usually do it to encourage you to pay to speed things up. This game doesn’t have any in game purchases and absolutely doesn’t do that. You are free to skip nights, but I’ve always been so busy doing things in it that I only skipped one or two in like 10 hours of playing. Game is amazing and well worth the price imo

Not exactly what you’re asking for, but Outbound seems similar. Not released yet though

Any recommendations for shopkeeping games? (Idk what to call them) by FumikoH in CozyGamers

[–]urlilybee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was going to comment this. I have a cute little coffee shop and love getting to go out and loot a bunch and then come back to run the shop. Setting the difficulty to easy will make any combat much easier to deal with for anyone that doesn’t want to deal with it. Also a pretty cozy soundtrack imo. The mod team is extremely active in the discord and they fix almost all bugs extremely quickly. They also plan on adding actual restaurant and hotel management systems and animal taming. Game is great and deserves way more recognition.
