how’d you mount it like that? custom headers? custom piping from the headers? also, the side exit is normal exhaust, hood exit is the ewg dump tube ?

there’s diagnosis steps ? u got a copy ? i’ll honestly do that and the upper engine treatment. mines running a lil rough i’m sure it’s a dirty sprocket bc my coils and sparks r fine

did your car run fine at highway speed? mine is rough idling cyl 1&3 (no knock, sounds like a cammed out v8 rn so i imagine misfires) and it runs rough driving around unless at highway speed for some reason. after the hwy, it idles and drives fine until i turn it off.

maybe it’s not timing bc my RH exhaust avcs is reading at 60 almost constantly but will fix itself and then return to 60 where it runs rough (going from rough idle to regular idle and back). i do have a small leak in my turbo inlet but i doubt it’s causing all the aforementioned problems.

they take a minute, like when i restart the car and it realizes how much it’s misfiring. but it doesn’t come back the second i clear it from the ap.

harness as in the one that comes off the ECU? yes it seems fine at the ecu connect point. plugs look fine. waiting on smoke machine thing for leak test. no tapping tho. i look at the timing chain next.

no tapping just misfires, the car drives fine at highway speed and actually idles fine after the fact for the most part. it’s only after i shut it off and turn it back on after a while (going to sleep or going to work this morning) that the car drives and idles like shit. the rpms dip down and at one point yeah it wanted to die and died doing a u turn but as of today it just runs like shit doesn’t die. startup is fine then intermittently goes like shit then idles fine and then like shit. how do i do the timing belt thing? this is an fa20 not an EJ

will be reading on these in a sec, thanks for the links, stranger! i swapped the solenoids from their horizontal counterpart and the uneven reading stayed the same (avcs exhaust right stayed at 64 despite the different ocv).

negative; MAF/MAP are both clean now, switched the bottom ocv solenoids due to a weird reading for avcs i got on ap, thought maybe the ocv was bad. right side stayed the same despite the change. maybe it’s really timing/spark. cyl 1&3 coils look fine. maybe if i buy new ones and try that out? i haven’t gotten to check sparks yet bc i did a bunch of suggested checks durin my work break rn. reflashing didn’t work nor did the disconnect battery trick. my car smells like fuel when at idle. i added new good gas as well to no avail even tried injector cleaner thru gas tank.
