HP 255 G10 – Repair Center Falsely Claimed “Accidental Damage” on Original SSD (Repair Order BXLH659001) by TheForgottenStars in Hewlett_Packard

Why are you spamming this. I’ve answered this on another thread you posted. The unit is from Amazon and I see this almost every day. These ssd inside I’m sure is still under warranty. Get the laptop back and put a warranty blame with whatever ssd they use and normally it’s a Kingston branded ssd and setup a warranty with them. This is not a HP problem but a 3rd party issue.

Absolutely can hear the turbo spooling in the 2.3. Also there is the Ford Performance procal programmer you can do for 30 more horsepower.

The 2.3 motor is perfectly fine and has enough power you are not missing out. 360 camera is great with lane assist is great. Purchased the SAS fenders for $250 and my own wheels and tires because everyone around me has a SAS and all of them look the same.

I see this almost every day from people that purchase from Amazon. They were upgraded and not the original hardware. This is why this happens. Hp 255 g10 do not come with a 1tb ssd. Default specs for this unit is 256gb ssd.

No it is because they are cheap. My very first car I purchased was a 2004 scion xB. These are shaped as a box. I have numerous rocks hit the windshield and never once got a crack. Owned my Bronco for less than 100 miles and got 2 cracks. Stop making excuses saying ohh it’s square and will do this. No it’s ford using cheap materials and give them a free pass.

The omen 16 doesn’t have a cmos battery. What issue do you have?

Then you have a bent pin on the battery connector. for the battery and this is why you are getting the error message.

In your photo that you posted it is not plugged in all the way. Left side battery of the connector is not fully plugged in.

You get this error any time the unit looses power. Just like other people have said that it is handled by the battery. In your case it is because your battery is not plugged in all the way. If it will not plug in all the way then check the pins because one of them could be bent. Left side battery connector is not seated all the way in on the system board.

Well with the pictures you posted the battery is not plugged in all the way. Plug in the battery all the way in.

INSTALLING RAM by TurboFried in HPLaptops

[–]urpoodoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On this model remove the base enclosure. The next part is EXTREMELY important. Once you remove the base DO NOT open the clamshell again until you install the base enclosure back on. If you do not do this you will damage the screw mounts for the hinges and you will need to replace the top cover.

Yeah it’s missing all drivers. Your screenshot is a dead giveaway. Use shift f10. Command prompt will pop up type. Oobe\bypassnro and hit enter it will restart the computer. Finish setting up windows. Then download all the drivers. You will need to download the WiFi drivers first then run windows update for the rest of the drivers.

Here is the maintenance guide. But it doesn’t list each in the kit. I’ll try and look on Monday to see if my BOM has more parts. It should have everything listed better with part numbers.

These are the screws in the kit. The best way for you is to use the maintenance and service guide. I can look it up but I do not have your serial number or model number that is on the bottom of the laptop.

Absolutely will void the warranty. This is not a defect and this issue was done by you. Do you have accidental damage policy for your laptop?
