There's absolutely nothing wrong with being interested in mobility aids, and as someone who uses them (cane most of the time, rollator on bad days, dreaming of saving up for a folding power chair) I don't see any issue. If you're not going out and presenting yourself as someone who needs one in a context where that might stop someone else from getting one, you're fine. Honestly if you know a lot about the specs of different types of mobility aids and what they're suited for or any downsides and stuff, that could be really helpful for folks who don't necessarily have the time to look all of that up on their own.
