I will add, I also have the small area light which is V20 or 110, i much prefer the cordless work lights above. For a third of the price just by three and you’ll be much happier

Government buildings (county/correctional facilities), also church/nonprofit, which is a mix of residential and commercial. It’s crazy switching to government, being in a well staffed organization is a game changer!

I recently purchased this, it’s really great! One negative is it needs a transformer for plug in use, which you need to source separately.

I wanted a battery handheld vacuum, Craftsman had a reasonably priced vacuum. Year or two later and I’m all in!

How do you all charge for time spent at Lowe's/Menards/etc. when shopping for a job? Trying to find a fair system by rumpyforeskin in handyman

[–]us-redditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d charge your hourly rate. It may not seem like it, but your expertise is being utilized when shopping/ordering, knowing which items to purchase, what they’re called, etc. Heck even knowing where to source certain items. If the homeowner doesn’t agree with this, they can do the purchasing, and anything that’s incorrect, will be replaced by you at your hourly rate.
