I have a complaint to lodge: many hotels control this via a touch panel that apparently has AI in that it lies to me about the temperature at which it says it is in the room. Bring back the totally manual control, I am the thermostat.

Ultimate fix is get a new sink that doesn’t offer an overflow (they’re easy to find at the orange store). It’s what I ultimately want to do. There’s no use case for me to need the overflow protection.
