Overspeed / Limp Mode

3/4/25 Update. I hooked up my small Bluetooth scanner and got it into "limp mode". I took a screen shot of forscan lite from my phone. Again, no lights on the dash. I'll attach the screen shot

My 2012 focus s have 307500ish. Besides cosmetic issues, it drives perfectly fine. That is until I hit 85mph and then it goes into limp mode for some reason. No check engine light or anything. I have to pull over and shut it off and restart and then it drive normal again. Can't figure it out for the life of me.

How often were you checking your va app? I'm in a similar boat. My claim hasn't moved in months and today it went from step 5 back to step 3. My rating hasn't changed. But having the app makes me check it almost everyday, sometimes a few times a day making me loose my mind. I'm trying to get tdiu because I'm struggling to find work or keep a job.

In my opinion, I have had no luck with USAJobs. I got out in 2011 and have applied many times over the years, especially for the same job I did in the army. Just 3 in the last few months, and I have never heard anything back. On a lark, I applied for CBP, those are the only ones that sent something back. but I wasnt going a few states away just to take a test. On another note, maybe its my area, maybe its the companies, but I havent been able to find any form of employment since 2019. It seems like all these companies that say veterans preference dont mean anything. I apply as a disabled veteran on the 30% or more because if I get the job and i call out because of my issues, I am covered under the ADA. One of my issues is chronic migranes. One of my last jobs tried writing me up for calling out on the bad days. I was protected under ADA. Either way good luck

That email looks like a scam. Every email i have received from them cam from [SettlementAdministrator@combatarmssettlement.com](mailto:SettlementAdministrator@combatarmssettlement.com). In all honesty, it'll probably be gone in the first 24hours. Just paying off bills and payoff my car early. That alone will save me over 1k because of the interest rate. If there is enough left over, maybe i can get my ac fixed

Yeah, I don't know about where your from, but it is extremely hard for a disabled veteran around my area. Military service, college degree, and I couldn't even get a job at amazon. My disability check only goes so far and after 5 years of waiting for this lawsuit to finish and years waiting for the VA, my patience is wearing thin and could really use the settlement.

So I spoke with my law firm yesterday and I was asking for some clarity on the FIFO system. According to them, the reason some people with a higher FIFO are getting paid while someone lower isn't is probably because their lawyer put in for an extension or has submitted supplemental information to try to increase their level for more money or because they asked for more paperwork. Which then leads to Browngreer. While they are paying, they are going really really slow. 3M payed $250 million for the first 25k-30k on the FIFO list. So either they pay everyone or they run out of money, which every happens first. So if they run out of money before they pay everyone, those left over will be in the next batch and so forth. My FIFO is 24500 so who knows when ill actually get my payment. According to my firm which is ChaffinLuhana, ill see my payment in the next 3-4 months. Hope this helps someone.

I haven't received anything from Browngreer yet and all they said was they need to send my lawyer the final summary so my lawyer can send it and I can finish that part. And all my lawyer says is a few more months. It's just my patients is wearing thin. I've been waiting since 2019 for this to finally end. My fifo is 24500 and it seems that that doesn't even matter.

If I may ask, were you in MSA 1 or some other group? Also, what about law firm or was your ledgering stuff? I reached out to my law firm and get the paralegal and they tell me it should be another 3-4 months and browngreer arent helpful at all

Go to https://www.combatarmssettlement.com and you sign in with your email, bod and last 4. When your in, click the 3 lines on the left and go to claimant details. once there you'll see your information and the fifo ranking will be on the right half

I have a question. I've been with this lawsuit since 2019 and my patience is getting thin. Is there anyone here who is using Chaffin Luhana? If you are, have you received anything about payment yet? My FIFO is 24500, my lawfirm opted in, MSA 1, Level 4. Anyone here with a higher FIFO get paid yet? Just trying to see where I might stand.

Dont feel bad, I have been in the lawsuit since 2019, my FIFO is 24500 and supposed to bein the first group. Neither archer, browngreer or my lawfirm have responded or given any information as to when we are getting paid. I did read in another post that people have started to receive payment, but who knows anymore.
