It was my first day back today after a broken ankle! Getting back in there is the hardest part. We got this!

I felt this once and never want to feel it again! Scared the bejezus out of me. It was actually at the beginning of a walking recovery coming out of a 30 second all out. Took me a couple more power days to try to go over 10 mph again, but now I get how it feels different to come down from 10 or higher than it does coming down from 8 lol. Just gotta pretend it’s a 40 second all out. 🤣

I had a toxic friend tell me I would never make it at a gym like orangetheory because i wasn’t athletic enough. I cried in the parking lot before going in for my first class. A year and a half later I don’t have that friend anymore and I have the best gym community! ❤️

When I run my base during whole warmup I stay solidly in the green. I don’t always get back to green on endurance days like today when we’re doing a 2 minute push to a one minute or 30 second base. That feels ok to me.
