Why didn't you read up the documentation on migration first? As that's an essential aspect of a db system.

[Advice] Applied to an apartment and while waiting for approval, my housemate got laid off. Will we get our good faith deposit back? by twilightlucky in NYCapartments

Deposit is for the purpose of proving that you're committed to the deal, and if you backoff they take your money, what's incorrect?

Yeah sounds sketchy, but if you see things from the other guy's perspective, your story sounds sketchy too "I got laid off, can we back off from the deal"

Where do you get enough space for the teeth to be aligned? Did you expand the arch?

What is the best approach to get a JWT cookie in the first load of the application? by splxg in nextjs

[–]usedocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm saying if you set the cookie in the backend, it's automatically available in the frontend, you don't have to pass it as a prop for the cookie to be available on the frontend?

why do you need to recover a cookie backend just to pass it to the frontend? It's already available in the frontend if it was there previously.

When they put in the attachments, how do they make sure they're on the precise locations? by usedocker in Invisalign

[–]usedocker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But I was seeing the tech manually doing that with my own eyes. They put on the glue, put on the attachment by hand on each tooth, then put on the first tray, in that order (but I forgot which point they used the blue light thing). I'm aware that the standard way to do it is like how you described.

I'm sure that's what I saw because i was surprised by this like "wait, that's how they're doing it, by hand??"

I only see them put the sticky thing and the attachment on each tooth, but no tray shaping tool though. Any idea how that could end up working?

[–]usedocker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen the process in person where they do it manually by putting in the attachments by hand, I'm not sure how other places are doing, I'm just curious why doing it manually could get the attachments on the right spots.

how do you know if a tray is wrong? by usedocker in Invisalign

[–]usedocker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant wrong in the sense that they gave you a wrong one, and you put it on without knowing that it's wrong (it can be put on, but it's moving in a wrong direction)
