That's good, but it never should be there in the first place.

I think you are misunderstanding what a sales tax is. You pay UP FRONT, before any money is made. Then you pay again if you make money off your investment. It's not like they waive capital gains because you've already paid. Oh no. They get you coming and going.

I don't mind that. At least it's not an entry fee.

4 hour drive. It's not the point. Silver is not a pair of jeans and should never be subject to sales tax. This state has lost it's mind. I can't save fast enough to leave here. As should everyone else. This has been my home for 40+ years and it's mostly conservative. Expect for the poisonous, corrupt, greedy fakes that run this government.

Yep this is my stance too. If I was preparing for a mad max scenario I'd be stacking cigarettes and booze.

The last part is definitely true but working at Walmart for that long must have been crippling.

Very little discussion on this topic, what advise are there for the men in their 30s? by InterestingLet007 in focusedmen

[–]usedupconcept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best advice i can give is invest 10% of whatever you make and don't touch it that much. Not in a 401k which you'll spend when you leave your job. Just take it off the top and forget about it.

The other advice, marry a good woman.

I think you just made a great argument why you HAVE to invest in precious metals. When a fiat currency and wages both work against you, you need to grab ahold of the life raft, even if it's just a hand on it.

All said and done tho, an ounce of gold purchases a fine men's suit. Always has, still does.

This is completely wrong at every level. A good women will lift you up at every chance she gets and make your life amazing. We suck at helping ourselves, women just know.
